Ever since I came across the Parker Jotter pens a few years ago I’ve wanted one as I love the classic design. These colorful plastic ones are lightweight which is good if you are writing for long stretches of time. I use it with the Ohto Flash Dry Gel Pen Refill which is a fine point. I love Parker pens, but was hoping to receive the color I ordered - magenta. Instead, I received a blue one. And after reporting that I received the wrong item, I was sent a replacement. Still blue. Bummer.

This pen writes so smoothly without skipping, I love it! I also like it that it comes wi the the ink cartridge you have to put in yourself, since that ensures I learn/don’t forget how to change out the cartridge in the future. I also like it that it comes in so many colors-my pens have a way of walking off now that all family members are working from home ;) The bright pink barrel makes it hard to misplace or mistake for another owner! ... show more

I got my first Parker pen 15 years ago from my then-future husband. I still have it, it was a lavender set. It is so easy to change out the ink. I am obsessed with the Parker Jotter, I think I have like 12 different colors. And they make great little gifts.

I’m primarily a fountain pen user, but as a nurse it’s difficult to carry and use a fountain pen on the job. I don’t like using ballpoint pens, but recently remembered that as a teenager in the 1980s I had a Parker Jotter that I loved but stopped using when the ink ran out (I had a hard time finding a refill because I had no idea where to look for one). I’m happy that Parker still makes this very solidly made line of pens, and that this one writes as well as I remember my old Jotter writing. Refills could be considered pricey, but are well worth the extra money spent to have a ballpoint that is enjoyable to use. ... show more

I puchased the orange colored version. It is a very lightweight pen, to the point that it feels plasticky. If you are writing a lot with it, the ink will stain the orange plastic surface. The plastic area of the pen feels thin; almost as if it were to break if you pressed too hard. The pen is great and I love it. My only gripe is that the orange portion is plastic. I've had bad experiences with plastic threads. I was expecting a metal portion coated in Orange. Other than that it writes and feels like I expected. A little lighter do to the plastic but it's a minor difference. I would give a 5/5 if it was a full metal pen. ... show more
