Description

The Park Tool PCS-4 is a perfect folding bike workstand for heavier duty home use or portable shop use. The PCS-4 features a rock solid, four-point leg system that forms a 26.5" x 28" (67 cm x 71 cm) square and folds flat for storage. Clamping height adjusts quickly from 51" to 68" (129cm to 173cm), and the clamp rotates 360 degrees to get any bike in the perfect position for any repair. Constructed from powdercoated steel tubing with a composite horizontal tube, the PCS-4 weighs 26 lbs. (11.8 kg). NOTE: The maximum weight holding capacity of the PCS-4 is 100 lbs. (45 kg). This assumes the weight is centered over the legs. The PCS-4 is available in one of two configurations. Be sure to choose the right option for your needs: The PCS-4-2 features the 100-5D Micro-Adjust Clamp, with a cam-actuated adjustment system for quick entry, adjustment and exit. The 100-5D features narrow (2.7"/7cm) clamping jaws to fit into tight areas or on short seat posts, and clamps nearly any tube from 7/8" to 3" (23–76mm), including aero tubes and dropper posts. The PCS-4-1 features our classic 100-5C Adjustable Linkage Clamp, with a proven design adjustable to fit any frame tube up to 1-5/8" (41mm). PCS-4-2 PCS-4-1 Park Tool built our first bike repair stand over 50 years ago, when our founders needed a more ergonomic and efficient way to service increasingly complex bicycle components. Since those humble beginnings, we have expanded our product line to over 500 tools, stands, and other maintenance equipment. Our mission has stayed the same: to design and manufacture high-quality tools to empower mechanics and riders of all skill levels to service their bicycles. It's the only thing we do, and we're good at it.

  • 5 Stars Plus! Very Well Made. Excellent Value.
Pattern Name: Single
I knew before I began shopping for a bike stand that I needed a top quality stand as I had just purchased a 60 lb Ebike (Luna Apex). I figured if anyone would know which bike stand would hold up in a challenging job the folks at Luna would know. So I asked them and hands down they recommended this model. Now I know why. This stand is remarkably well designed and the materials, fasteners and all components are top quality. The powder coated finish is well done so the stand is attractive as well. The assembly is straightforward and easy. A couple of 7/16" wrenches (one ratcheting box end wrench and another box end wrench), as well as 1 Allen wrench, were all the tools necessary to put it together. Once it was assembled I put my Cannondale mountain bike on the stand by attaching to the crossbar and then for the big challenge: I connected my Luna Apex Ebike by the seat post. The stand handled both bikes with ease. Very sturdy and stable. I am disappointed in my fellow reviewers for downgrading this stand. Scratched paint? Really? Blame the shipper, blame the vendor but one star for scratches? It is easily 5 stars and then some. It arrived in perfect condition, all the parts were carefully wrapped or boxed, and once assembled is handsome and functions as designed. You get what you pay for. This stand is worth every penny. Highly recommended. The only add-on really needed is the handlebar holder to keep the handlebars from turning. ... show more

  • Awesome stand! Pricey but worth it.
Pattern Name: Single
I was reluctant to spend this much money compared to cheaper stands on Amazon. As of today, this is the only stand that will support up to 100lbs. Assembly was relatively quick considering the stand breaks down into small pieces. The packaging is quite small. This stand does not fold down any shorter. The legs fold but in general it doesn’t get much more compact. That is the downside to this specific stand compared to others Park sells. It’s the price you pay to have a heavy duty floor stand. I was able to work on my bike and replace the rear triangle with ease using this stand. I can rotate the bike in all needed directions no problem. Another reviewer posted that the bolt holes for the leg tubes were a little too close the the edge of the tube. I agree, they could of drilled those holes so that there would be more material around the hole. Good thing is Park had great warranty and I don’t move the stand around much so it won’t be a problem for me. ... show more

  • So Far, So Good.... And it works for mE.
Pattern Name: Single
My old bicycle repair stand was 100% steel but very flimsy, not built for the thicker diameter frames, and it scratched my bikes. I should have purchased the Park Tool PCS-4-2 long ago because this unit saves me time and makes repairs so much easier. I've been using The Park Tool PCS 4-2 for a few weeks and so far, so good. The 100-3D head locks solid and doesn't scratch my bikes. As I was assembling it I noticed the holes drilled into the legs where the pivot bolts attach are a bit close to the edge. Maybe it's going to be an issue over time maybe not. And I think there should be a brace between the legs to keep them from folding up if one leg gets accidentally kicked on a slippery floor. I do think the quick release collar should have been fitted to the main frame tube rather than the extension tube. Every time the bike stand is raised higher the work tray must be readjusted so it isn't too high. Not a big deal but I think if the parts tray were mounted on the main tube it might workout better. I do like that the tray come off quickly and it all stores behind a door in a bedroom. It's a very nice unit and I would recommend it to friends. ... show more

  • Great stand for working on heavy electric bikes
Pattern Name: Single
I was skeptical that this thing would be able to hold a 60+ lb Rad Rover, but it does it with ease. You can even rotate the bike at any angle you need and the mouth/arm holds it tight. There is zero wobble and the stand never feels unstable. The best part, it clamps to a frame of my Rad Rover step-thru and Rad Rover step-thru mini, despite those bikes not having a horizontal bar. The holding arm rotates and it can grab the bike by any part of the frame. Highly recommend, if you are looking to perform maintenance on your e-bike or a very heavy bike of any kind. The stand itself is very light and the assembly took about 10 minutes. ... show more

  • Good quality Ebike stand
Pattern Name: Single
This is a heavy duty bike repair stand made of solid tube steel. The legs fold for a smaller footprint for storage. I put a Rad mini 4 on it and it was very sturdy. I could easily position the bike in different angles and heights to work on the brakes. Not cheap, but it will probably be around long after I'm gone! ... show more

  • No complaints -- this stand is recommended for heavier bikes such as ones that are motorized
Pattern Name: Single
When I was assembling this bike repair stand together, the nylon lock nuts [and bolts] struck me as somewhat on the small side, but so far it's held up these last 3 months or so. The two legs are slightly tricky to attach to the main pole because they both spread apart at an angle, so getting them to line up right to screw them on took some trial and error. I haven't started doing some really serious jostling and work with the bike except just removing components, so I can't comment on how stable this repair stand would be under a lot of pushing and pulling -- that's yet to come, hopefully soon. ... show more

  • Very strong for heavy ebikes!
Pattern Name: Single
If you want a bike repair stand that will hold a heavy Ebike with out falling on the floor and damaging it and the stand this is the one to get! Built like a tank and I highly recommend it! Heavy and hard to store but absolutely a strong stand! This stand holds my 55lb ebike with easy...

  • **Updated** - How did this pass quality control?
Pattern Name: Single
UPDATE - The dudes at Park went above and beyond and sent me out a new set of bolts. They rock and deserve your business! One of the bolts is damaged and too short. Guess I’ll have to wait to build this thing. That’s annoying. Besides that, it feels pretty quality
