After 25 years of working on my bikes I have yet to be disappointed by anything made by Park Tools. You can use an old toothbrush and rags. I find this to be quicker, less messy, and overall do a better job of cleaning a bike chain.

i think i did it wrong but it still worked 😅 rotation of the pedals should move the chain in the direction entering the brush side and exiting through the foam side. i dont know what i was thinking 🤦🏻♂️

I bought this set of the chain tool, brush, and degreaser as a present for my son. He told me that only the chain tool arrived so we returned it and reordered. Once again, he was convinced that only the chain tool was sent. Well, he was wrong, which makes my initial negative review wrong... This morning he sheepishly admitted via a text with photo that both times he had missed seeing the brush and degreaser in the packaging.
