  • Quite nice, pretty functional Quite nice, pretty functional
Ordering Amazon furniture from an unknown brand can have its risks, but I was pleasantly surprised by this TV stand. It has plenty of storage and a few places to route cables and whatnot, with drawers and cabinets. It is also very sturdy. I can't really make it wobble when I push on it from any direction, which is somewhat impressive for flat pack style furniture. Assembly is quite a process! I see reviewers who say it is easy or a half hour process, and I have to wonder if they actually assembled it at all before posting their review. This was probably over two hours. There are about 30 individual pieces to the cabinet and I would estimate 150 fasteners involved. With that said, the step-by-step directions were very clear and I never found myself having to undo mistakes from earlier steps. I rarely build an IKEA cabinet without having to unscrew at least something once, but that may be because IKEA stuff usually supports multiple different configurations. It is also quite large - be sure to look at the dimensions. I bought it for a summer cabin that already came with black cabinets, and it matches well, but it turns out it did not fit in the place I intended it. I just didn't want to make a five hour drive and measure before buying furniture, so that's my fault. I still found a place where it looks nice enough. It has a built-in base, which provides a clean look, but some people prefer their cabinets on feet so they can stow cables and whatnot under them. The base also has little plastic feet so you can slide it around a bit on hardwood floors without leaving scratches. My only complaint, I guess, is that some of the pre-drilled holes, especially those for self-threading screws, are very minimally drilled. It leaves a lot of latitude for where the center of the screw will end up. Somehow despite this the doors ended up very well aligned. It has European-style hinges which have various adjustment screws so had they been crooked I could, in theory, have corrected them. It has a slightly unusual (to me, at least) matte black finish. Possibly it was sanded briefly to remove the usual glossiness from the veneer. Also that veneer is very thin and if struck hard, it will start to tear. In that regard it is not as nice as a similar IKEA piece, despite generally being similar, but it is much cheaper. My cabin in the mountains doesn't need premium furniture, so I am perfectly happy with it. It's nice, though - if we couldn't have found a place to put it in the cabin my wife and I would have been perfectly happy bringing it back home and using it there. ... show more

  • Good buy Good buy
Color: Natural Wood-1
Beautiful stand, but labor of love assembling. It came with a bit of damage to the corner (not happy about that). The fireplace lighting options are cool and so is the fan/heat option. You won’t regret this purchase. The width from top to bottom was a perfect fit in my space! Whew!

  • Furniture in a box to be proud of. Seriously. Furniture in a box to be proud of. Seriously.
This is the nicest furniture-in-a-box I’ve ever assembled, by far. It’s HEAVY— I don’t think many people could handle the box alone, definitely not without dragging it. It was brilliantly packed for safe arrival. While my box was a little beat up, not a single piece of the actual cabinet had a scratch or scuff on it. It took me hours to put it together. How many I’m not sure— I’m a little (sometimes a lot) ADHD so I hop back and forth between multiple projects. I had pieces spread out over two rooms for a couple of days. But it was all worth it in the end. There are enough connection points between the top and the base that I assured my husband that we could safely move it by picking it up from the top, and we did, without a single speck of protest from the cabinet. The husband is extremely skeptical of furniture that comes in a box to be self assembled. He wouldn’t commit to it until I had it fully together, but now he’s pleased. The rest of our bedroom is Bernhardt, and it doesn’t look cheap next to all that. We used to have a glass shelf tv stand in that corner, and this is a serious upgrade. There are a couple of places where the assembly instructions aren’t great— my main complaint was where they said to turn it 180 degrees they really meant to flip the piece over. My husband only had to step in once throughout the whole construction process when I didn’t understand the directions and got nervous— I hate having to backtrack. And he helped flip it over when I needed to, so two people are very helpful at a couple of stages in construction. I used a ratcheting screwdriver and I advise at least that, though they do include a decent-ish screwdriver. I don’t like power tools for furniture assembly because I’m leery of damaging pieces by over tightening: I like to *feel* what I’m doing. This also is available (at a higher price) as a cabinet with a fireplace, and I’d love to see that. Even without the fireplace, it’s a gorgeous piece of “real” furniture that I’m proud of. One other thing: the drawer glide thingies don’t have stickers, and that scared and confused me at first. But what they are (CL, CR, DL, or DR) is stamped into their actual metal body. Don’t freak out when you don’t see a sticker. One other wonderful thing— the little stickers identifying each piece come off easily and completely, so now that I’ve removed all of them, there’s no visible reminder that this came in a box and I assembled it myself. Except for my pride in my build! ... show more

  • heavy, sturdy, tall and elegant heavy, sturdy, tall and elegant
This TV stand is in my living room and overall I'm very pleased with it. The design is elegant and modern, and the fluted doors give it a much more expensive look than the price would suggest. Once assembled, it feels significantly heavier and sturdier than I expected, which gives me confidence that it will hold up well over time. Assembly was the biggest part of the process. I completed it by myself, but it took me over 2 hours from start to finish. While it's possible for one person to do it, I highly recommend having at least two people for assembly. Many of the panels are large and heavy, and an extra set of hands would make the process much faster and easier. One thing that stood out to me was the quality of the instructions. They are extremely detailed, easy to follow, and clearly labeled. The package includes all of the hardware and tools needed for assembly, plus a few spare screws and parts, which is always appreciated in case something gets misplaced. The cabinet itself is very heavy once assembled and feels durable. I have a 55-inch TV on it, and there is still ample space on the top surface. The TV stand is also taller than many comparable options, which was a major benefit for me. The extra height keeps the TV at a comfortable viewing level and, more importantly, high enough that my toddler cannot easily reach up and grab the screen. Another feature I found nice to have, is the flexibility for different setups. The stand includes options that allow you to accommodate a fireplace insert if that's something you plan to add later. The door hinges are also adjustable, making it easy to fine-tune the alignment of the doors after assembly for a clean, professional look. While cable management isn't something I personally care much about, this stand offers several good cable-routing options, both of the top drawers as well as the center space have hole for cable passthrough. There is enough room behind devices and through the provided openings to keep wires organized and out of sight if that's important to you. My only real criticism is the natural wood finish. The color isn't my favorite and looks a little lighter and less rich than I expected from the product photos. It's not bad by any means, but it's probably the one aspect that didn't fully meet my expectations. Overall, this is a sturdy, elegant, and functional TV stand with plenty of storage, excellent instructions, adjustable hardware, and thoughtful design features. If you're willing to spend some time on assembly, and preferably have a second person helping; it's a great addition to a living room or entertainment space. ... show more

  • 🖥️ 🪵 Heavy Duty Fluted TV Stand With Plenty of Storage Space
Overview: A heavy-duty, well-built TV stand with a fluted wood design and solid storage, though its weight makes placement a two-person job. I've tried out this TV stand a few times and it works fine. It appears to be made of high quality materials, and the fluted wood design looks more substantial in person than most flat-pack furniture in this category. It fits TVs up to 70 inches and the storage space is generous enough to handle media equipment, game consoles, and whatever else tends to pile up around a TV 📺 The build is very heavy duty, and at around 100 lbs this is not something you're moving around solo once it's assembled. Plan ahead for placement because repositioning it after the fact is a two-person job at minimum. The black finish works well in most living room setups without looking too busy. One useful tip: assemble it in the room where it's going to live rather than putting it together elsewhere and trying to carry it in, which sounds obvious until you're already committed to the wrong approach 🔧 The storage compartments are well-sized for standard AV components. Value is pretty good for a stand with this level of build quality and a design that doesn't look like it came from a starter apartment. ... show more

  • Beautiful Upgrade, Perfectly Aligned, and Very Sturdy!
The Perfect Console Upgrade: We needed an upgrade for our upstairs TV console, and this piece was absolutely perfect. The natural wood color looks fantastic in person, and the modern fluted design adds a really beautiful, high-end texture to the room. It fits into our space beautifully and easily accommodates a larger television. Real-World Testing and Assembly: - Straightforward Assembly: Putting this together was surprisingly easy. The instructions were clear, and everything lined up properly right out of the box. - Excellent Alignment: My favorite part is that the cabinet doors and the drawers actually go on completely straight. With a lot of flat-pack furniture, you have to constantly adjust the hinges to get things even, but these aligned perfectly on the first try. - Stability: Once assembled, the stand is incredibly sturdy and solid. There are absolutely no wobbles or shaking, even though it is a substantial piece of furniture. - Storage and Organization: The combination of the open shelves, drawers, and closed cabinets gives us plenty of room to hide away cords, media players, and extra clutter. PROS: Gorgeous natural wood grain color with a trendy fluted design. Very easy assembly process with parts that align perfectly. Doors and drawers sit completely straight without tedious adjustments. Heavy-duty, solid build with zero wobbling.Generous storage space with built-in cord management holes. CONS: None. It is an amazing value for a large entertainment center. ... show more

  • Wow, heavy!
WOW, this thing is heavy. Seriously, when it arrived, even the FedEx driver was struggling with it and ended up asking my husband for help. Unfortunately, my husband ended up hurting his back helping move it, which should give you an idea of just how substantial this thing is. The upside to all that weight is that it feels incredibly solid. Nothing about it feels flimsy or cheap. The materials feel substantial, the construction feels sturdy, and once assembled it has a very high-quality appearance. The fluted wood detailing gives it a more custom furniture look instead of looking like a basic flat-pack entertainment center. It's designed to accommodate TVs up to 70 inches and includes plenty of storage space, but what stood out to me most was simply the build quality. This is one of the heavier-duty pieces of furniture I've assembled recently, and it definitely feels built to last. ... show more

  • Sturdy, modern & versatile
Solid build, bit of a handful to put together but I think that lends to the sturdiness of it. It has plenty of storage and the drawers all open and close smoothly. I had no issues other than a little nick in finish on one of the pieces but that was easily touched up with a dab from a flat black paint pen. There is room for a fireplace but we use that big open space for several gaming consoles. It might be good to consider what you will put in that area if not a fireplace because its a lot of space. Overall, happy with the item. ... show more
