I am really stupid when it comes to screen protector installation and really appreciate how this product gives all the tools to make it as easy as possible. It's pretty close to being idiot-proof, and there's another screen protector in the package for a second chance. My first attempt at installation I did NOT follow instructions properly.. 100% my own stupid laziness. I put it on slightly crooked and let a ton of dust and cat hair in. But thanks to the other screen protector inside I was able to try again, with more awareness about the potential ways I could mess up, and it looks perfect! I actually didn't realize there were 2 screen protectors in there at first and emailed the business after my first failure. They responded VERY quickly and kindly and were prepared to take further steps to assist me even if I did manage to mess up both attempts. I never thought I'd be so excited about a screen protector but they are usually such a frustrating experience for me and this product & business left me feeling very positive. ... show more

    • Fantastic! Looks and Feels Great!

Feels great to use, and looks great as well! I dont think the screen's quality suffers too much while using this device; it seems to be only slightly altered. The screen helps reduce a slight amount of glare and all in all is just a bit easier to look at due to the protector. Wasnt too hard to put on, I had a couple bubbles but they dissapeared after a week. I reccomend putting the screen on in the bathroom with a hot shower running; itll make sure that no dust settles on the screen! Fingerprints arent too bad on this screen. They certainly show a bit more than an ordinary glass screen and they can be a bit more difficult to clean off, but I dont think its much of an issue. All that doesnt matter as much as whether or not it feels good to draw on, which it does! The original glass protector was soooo slippery and this made things much more manageable. I wouldn't say it feels exactly like paper but if you like drawing on paper you'll probably like this. Just so you know this isnt a fake review by the company, I think that poop is yummy ... show more

    • Effective; Easy to Use and Clean

I do all my school work on an iPad, with an Apple Pencil. We don't have textbooks or printed slides anymore, all my note taking, annotating, and research are done on my iPad. Very quickly I noticed my handwriting was becoming sloppy, the smooth surface of the screen did not have any resistance to my pencil. While writing notes quickly, I would create exaggerated letters, and hard to read words. That's when I looked into paperlike. This screen protector is a life saver. Now the screen has resistance to my pencil, it forces my hand slower, preserving legibility and senestion. I wrote with more purpose, it was no longer sloppy writing what I want without any regard. Build: Paperlike is a regular screen protector that has been indented millions of times on a very small scale. This makes the protector have the same 'rough' texture as printer paper. It is also thicker than normal, so the protector has some give when you press down, like paper. Screen Quality: Initially I did notice the crispness of my screen decreased due to the matte screen protector but it was subtle enough that I quickly got over it. I could also use my iPad in the sun more easily. Company: I emailed the company because I messed up the installation, and they got back to me very quickly, and promptly shipped me a new product under their warranty.     • Instructions unclear, but otherwise great

The media could not be loaded. Satisfied with my purchase. The quality is great, definitely has a paper like feel - especially with the apple pencil because it even sounds like I’m writing on paper. The screen quality is not as clear as it was without the screen protector on, but it’s 99% manageable and I’m sure I’ll get used to it (the 1% is for it being noticeable lol). I thought it would make my handwriting better in GoodNotes, but it definifely doesn’t help as much as I thought it would... it’s maybe like 10% better because the pencil doesn’t slide around on the screen as much so I feel a little more in control... just don’t expect it to magically fix your handwriting on a screen like I did haha. My only complaint real is that the instructions were unclear. I wish they were way more detailed. The sticker placement in the photo was NOT what was actually on the screen protector, which was really annoying. the sticker in the photo was shown on the bottom of the screen protector toward the home button, but in real life the sticker was at the top of the screen protector near the camera. At that point, I had to figure it out for myself by slightly lifting each side to figure out which side was sticky which made it gather a little lint that is now stuck on my screen. In addition to that, the “card” it came with to push the bubbles down was a literal blue rectangle sticker so I had to grab my credit card in the middle of application. Then I spent an extra 5 mins trying to get the rest of the air bubbles out because of it. Not joking when I say INSTRUCTIONS UNCLEAR. Lol. Other than that though, I’m happy with my purchase.
