My last apartment was small, so I needed this. It was sturdy and held your normal size papertowel roll. I did have to have it in a place where I needed the arm to bend, and it did a little, but not a ton. The adhesive never came off. I left it behind out of fear of pulling the paint off the wall

Installation is easy. I used the adhesive and the screws it comes with. I recommend using it vertically, I have mine mounted horizontally and it’s slowly pulled the holder down due to the weight of the paper towel and I am unable to straighten it back out. It fits on my wall above my sink saving me counter space so all in all I don’t regret my purchase.

I purchased this adhesive paper towel holder for one of our rental, hoping for a simple, no-drill solution that would look neat, save space, and avoid damage. This seemed like the perfect product, but unfortunately, it fell short. The first issue I noticed during installation was the way the screw attaches the main bar to the base. It doesn’t line up perfectly, so the whole holder ends up sitting slightly crooked once installed. It may not sound like a big deal, but when it’s on display in a kitchen where guests see and use it daily, the crooked alignment makes it look cheap and poorly installed, even though the problem is actually in the design. The adhesive itself is very strong, almost too strong. It grips immediately and feels secure, which would be a positive if the design were flawless. But because the screw didn’t line up properly and the holder was crooked, I tried to remove it and reposition. That’s when the real problem became clear. The adhesive is basically permanent. Trying to peel it off pulled surface material with it, leaving behind damage that required patching. This completely defeats the purpose of buying an adhesive product for a rental, where easy removal without damage is key. Functionally, once the roll was in place, it did hold paper towels without wobbling or falling, so I can’t say it didn’t “work.” The problem is that the crooked alignment and permanent adhesive make it a frustrating product overall. For homeowners who don’t mind something permanent or who don’t care if it’s a little off-center this might be passable as a cheap paper towel holder. But for anyone managing, moving often, or wanting something you can reposition without hassle, I would not recommend this. A better option would be a holder that either mounts with screws (so at least it’s straight and intentional) or one that uses removable adhesive strips like Command hooks, which can come off cleanly without tearing up the surface. Overall, this product “works” in the most basic sense, but it comes with too many drawbacks for me to use again. The crooked screw, permanent adhesive, and surface damage make it more trouble than it’s worth. I wanted something simple and rental-friendly, and this just isn’t it.

I'm not very impressed with this item. My dad loves it, but me...can't stand it. I go for 1 sheet & half the roll comes flying out. My dad said I'm not doing it right & it works just fine for him. He's 71yrs old, I'm 41yrs old...if that help in your decision on this item. It looks nice & its easy to install, if u don't lose those tiny special screws, which I did. All 2 of them. I couldn't cost to throw a couple extra in the pack. The 2nd pic I took is where the special screw goes. It kinda looks like that, but much smaller. So the paper towel holder isn't sturdy. Its not going anywhere, but it has a sway. Its now sagging downward. Huge waste of money. The longer u have it, the worse this item becomes!
