    • It Cuts But It's Poorly Made
This paper cutter is light weight, has a fairly sturdy frame with mounting screws on the bottom for setting it in place, and a bar magnet to hold the paper in place. The magnet is the most redeeming quality of the item. The cutter does not have a safety latch release; instead, it has a fixed post that you bend the cutting bar, because there is not a separate blade, and pull it to the side approximately 1/4 in to use. There is a tension spring at the top, but it wobbles a bit and from experience dealing with mechanical devices I believe it could eventually give in to metal fatigue and leave a gap between the "cutting blade" and the frame. Most paper cutters have separate blades that can be removed and sharpened when it starts to dull. This one does not and if you were to grind it flat it would remove the anticorrosion coating on the "blade". When cutting it sometimes cuts perfectly, then the next several cuts are kinda botchy with more of a tear than a cut, and a more common than should be a wavy/curved line. If it wasn't for the magnet the cuts would most likely be worse. We are in the process of requesting a return. Amazon states that the seller has 5 days to provide us with a return label, but the seller informed us that they don't wish to provide a return label and they would like to offer us a 40% discount and we can keep the cutter. That was nice of them, but I requested to return it and asked for a full refund because I cannot use the cutter. I'd rather use the money on something that has an actual blade. The seller also requested pictures or a video of the issues that we have; I have never experienced this type of response from a seller (to prove that I'm being honest about the reason for a return). Beware of the fact that if you have issues with the cutter, the return process is not as simple as immediately receiving a return label when the seller is notified. You might be requested (with a series of texts/emails) to send visual proof of the item's condition or issues, pay for return shipping (for an item that costs $0/free shipping and has a 30-day guaranteed shipping policy), and/or keep it in its poor condition for a reduced price. ... show more

Este cortador no corta el papel bien, prácticamente lo desgarra y no puedes cortar más de dos hojas y el corte no es preciso. Solicite la devolución y tuve que esperar la etiqueta por parte del vendedor y ahora dice que tengo que pagar los gastos de devolución del producto cuando fue entrega gratis . ... show more
