Like the set. I only wish each color had its own cover. They come stacked together, which is nice for traveling. However, once you separate each color, they do not have a cover. As a result, you have to buy another item, a case, to put them in to see all the colors and keep them individually covered. You might want to think about ordering the clear plastic case for the set when you order this item.

I’ve been wanting to try these pastels for about 6 months and I finally took the plunge! They are so beautiful, easier to use than sticks and a lot less messy. I’m not an artist, but enjoy learning about new art mediums. I had so much fun just playing around with the beautiful colors.

They are soft,they blend together and are easy to work with. No messy clean up and if you don't like what you did, they're erasable.

Looking forward to learning more about using these pan pastels. I can see them becoming an addition to my colored pencil work. LOOK for the tool pieces at the bottom of the pastel container. It is unclear where these are packaged. At first I thought they had not been included.

I use it for shading, instead of dry brushing colors. Easier to control than dry brushing and if you mess up, wipe it off and try again.
