I am a big supporter for PanPastels. Up to today, I was also a great marketer by sharing my rave reviews to thousands of people. It appears from photos that most crushed PanPastels are the light pastel color set. There’s obviously an issue on the manufacturing of 1 set over the others. Seeing this as an ongoing issue, for this particular set, in many the reviews regarding broken pads. I seems to me the seller has only disregarded this issue instead of correcting the problem. It appears the seller has no concern of this issue. If concerned, they would have completed quality control issues by now and would have this corrected. In my business, if one of the mechanisms was clearly failing, that would be a top priority. I cannot think of any reason PanPastel would allow this to continue. It’s not a priority, it is not that they care about their reputation, it is definitely NOT because they care at all for their customers or their products. I question why there are no comments to these reviews. Most of my vendors, with a quality product, responds. They are aware of problems, they make it right with the customer and update changes they have made or in the process of changes. I’m extremely disappointed in this seller. I have purchased a lot from this vendor and shared the link with fellow artists as well as supplying links on my Christmas List!! I’m interested in how this will be “made right”. I can already see the response that I’m “outside the return window.” Of course I am, this is the pastel set for Spring and Easter!!! I’ve had no reason to open it. To those of you who are not familiar with this product. The packaging is different then you probably expect. Each individual “pan” color has a screw mechanism that has several functions. You can make sets of colors as you prefer. You can stack them 20+high. They screw onto other colors and other colors screw on top it each. There is only one top lid for a set. I’m more then happy to explain further if needed but through pictures and advertising, you understand. When you want a color, you screw off any pads/lid on top of wanted pan. When the pan has crushed product, it is all over when you open it by unscrewing. What’s worse, is the fact your crushed pan is also all over the bottom pan directly on top. When you screw off the top pans or lid and lay it aside to use your desired pan, all that loose chalk-like powder is now all over the surface where you set it aside. The colors also get all over and into the screw threads. You also get left with all crushed pans mixing into all the others. I am contacting seller now and will update. If I get no response, I will note that also. I will also reach out to the thousands of international artists I know and share with the 20+ groups I am a member of. Each group ,on average, is about 20,000+ artists. This can leave a tremendous footprint. I’d like to know how this problem will be corrected with no fault of my own.

Four out of the five pans are broken into pieces. The fifth one, I cannot open it and do not want to do force right now because I might have pastels particles flying all over my room. Not good, not good at all, especially for the money that a person spends on this product.

I absolutely love these colors. So pretty and so easy to use !!! Very user friendly. Smooth as butter. Smooth on paper, easy to build up and lay down beautiful colors.

If you haven't tried these, you must! They are amazing! They are about the size of a face powder compact, and the same consistency/texture. Also about the same amount of product in each pan as a powder compact. Now, for me, they took a bit of familiarizing, but don't all new-to-you products? They are so blendable, I was so excited! Ha! I also loved the fact that I didn't have a pile of dust to clean up. They come with a few tools, but regular make up sponges work perfectly! I really can't say enough about these. They are the best!

If buying these sets taught me anything, it’s to read all the reviews!! I’ve bought 2 kits this week… that’s 15 individual pans and nearly half 7/15 came totally crumbled and in powder form…. (What can anyone do with those ugh…) the 8 usable colors work beautifully so it’s not the product, it’s shipping or the containers that appear to be an issue….

I can't use these because every single one of them are crushed. There are supposedly ways to fix them but it's way too time consuming. I waited over a week for this shipment to arrive too. I'm sorry, but I cannot give a good or even semi-good review

Love the pan pastels! Adds a whole new dimension to your piece and even more with the shimmer colors. I bought the trays also to hold them which makes access easier. Wish they had more shades of shimmering pinks and reds.
