I'm a Professor of audio engineering. All the reviews claiming these have "great sound quality" come from people that know not of what they speak. Nonetheless, they are adequate for listening to videos and are they most comfortable I've found for laying on your side in bed.     • Comfortable when you wear glasses.
I had a hard time at first until I figured out that it was my dyslexia that was keeping me from figuring out how to wear them. They're really pretty comfortable and the sound is fine for my needs (listening to audiobooks and such). If these break, I'll buy them again.

Sound quality is really good, especially for the price. I like Sony because it is compatible with my Creative Zen MP3 player which most other brands are not. I wouldn't recommend it for sports if you are energetically working out because the ear clips are small and flimsy. They work great for me on my treadmill and working around the house. ... show more

I need to listen to something as I fall asleep. These are the best headphones I've found to use while falling asleep for one big reason: comfort! Ear buds don't work for me, so uncomfortable and lumpy to sleep against with your head on a pillow. Over the head connected headphones are too bulky and when you sleep on your side, it puts your neck at a bad angle and you can't feel the pillow. These over ear headphones are GREAT, they're small enough that your ear can feel the pillow, and so slim that it doesn't affect the angle of your neck. The over ear pieces are flexible enough and have the right amount of tension to sit comfortably on your ear. They are light weight, and your ears get enough air. I love being able to choose having one side off. I also love that they're available in white! I have to buy a few more pairs soon, it's gotten harder to find over-ear headphones like these! ... show more

Ear buds and any headphones that go inside my ears always hurt my ears after just a few minutes of wear. Please make this exact product, only in a wireless version. I've probably owned 8 pairs of these over the past 10+ years.

    • Pretty good, for the money
I have ears that hurt if I use those ear-pods... So the only options are over-the-heard (bulky..) or - over ears. I've been using Panasonic ones for a few years. After a few months, most lose sound in one ear.... This particular version, white as opposed to black, has been behaving much better. The only issue is that the foam falls off almost immediately (and it's impossible to stretch it over again..). I'll try to put some glue to keep them on, in the future...;) BTW, I am not using them to listen to serious music; just news, podcasts, occasional songs to help while walking..... ... show more

These are super comfortable and actually stay tight (comfortably tight) against my ear with no danger of falling off. Also I'm hearing impaired so I need my headphones to be pretty loud so I can hear put of them. These are great for sound! They are everything I was looking for!
