I believe the problem is with the supplier. This microwave came to us extensively damaged. The box was damaged and then when we opened the box the microwave was dented and unit was bent so badly that the door wouldn’t close. **we bought this microwave because we have an older one and love it. It just needed to be replaced after 15 years. It is a larger capacity microwave and higher wattage than many on the market. ... show more

Purchased less than 2 years ago and it's dead. Not a heavy user, maybe three or four times a week. This model doesn't use "normal" components, all the important components are placed on a single board, which goes bad. Part alone costs more than the price of the microwave. Seems to be a very common problem with these inverter ovens. I ordered a Toshiba today, taking advantage or Amazon's cyber monday deals. Panasonic's inverter process makes this a must have for your frozen foods for defrosting. Does them perfectly. 1st mic I've owned and I've had a few in my decades of living that does that. Simple to use. Why someone gave this a 3 star is beyond me unless the price? No issues at all with the mic and I have confidence it will probably out live me! lol Easy to clean to. ... show more
