  • The Best Earbuds I Have Ever Used
Color: Purple Style: No Mic
*PROs: -Very loud (I never go louder than 25% on my iPhone) -Sound quality (Clear stereo sounds) -Great bass (Easy to hear all of the low frequencies) -Noise isolating (At 10% volume, near impossible to hear people talk) -Affordable (I got mine for $8) -Purple (Love the color. I'm sure the others are great, too) -Great fit (Has yet to fall out of my ear) *CONs: -Hurts ears (After hours of use, ears may start to feel sore) -Noise isolating (Touching the cord sounds loud) -I didn't buy sooner (Super great earbuds!) *Detailed Explanation: These earbuds are quite loud; I always check the volume before pressing play, just in case it's at 50% volume or higher. It's possible that they produce just as much noise as many other earbuds, but these isolate a lot of noise due to the way they are designed, which I'm sure enhances the volume. When I say noise isolating, I don't mean that they have any sort of isolation built in; rather, they fit so well in the ear that most outside noise isn't even able to make it to your eardrum. I've had people having normal conversations directly next to me, and I could barely hear them at 10% volume. At 5%, it was still really hard to make out any word they said. This may be a problem for some though, because many internal noises, such as breathing and swallowing are heard more. I'm used to it now, but at first it was weird. Similarly, if you move your head or move the cord, it produces some noise. I've also tried mowing with these earbuds. With my old, Apple earpods, I had to crank the volume up all the way, which is not only extremely loud, but bad for your ears. With these, I had the volume at less than 50%, clearly hearing every note while maintaining a comfortable volume. I've noticed some people in the reviews commented on the bass. Now these aren't huge speakers or even a full headset, so the bass isn't overpowering, but it is definitely there. I hear every frequency sound that I hear with my turtlebeach headset. It's not something that makes your chest reverberate like at a concert, but it's more than I expect from any speakers the size of a dime. Most earbuds I have owned don't seem to like my left ear. I'm not sure why, but they have a tendency to either fall out or lay at a slight angle, making the volume louder in my right ear. With these, the left (and the right) feels natural, and the earbud has yet to fall out. Conversely, if I leave the earbuds in my ears for over an hour, then take them out, they feel slightly sore (this is more of a problem with my right ear than my left). It's not a bad pain, just kind of like someone flicked your ear (we'll say in the summer, when you're not cold); it goes away after a few minutes. *Final Thoughts/TL;DR: I'm very happy that I purchased these earbuds. They are affordable, trendy, and - more importantly - excellent quality. I love the way they make everything sound and that they fit both of my ears. The noise volume is fantastic, especially when coupled with the bonus noise isolating effects. Unless you want the highest quality earbuds on the market, I highly recommend buying these earbuds. 9.5/10 -Sknowman ... show more

  • These are one of the best deals you'll get in audio stuff...like ever
Color: Black Style: No Mic
I've had a least 5 pairs of these over the years because they're 1) Cheap, 2) Comfortable, 3) Good audio quality. The last pair I bought were $9, now they're up to a whopping $13. In the age of bluetooth earbuds it's pretty amazing these still exist, but I'll buy them until they stop making them. The audio quality for such a cheap set of headphones is absolutely amazing. They sound good. They've always sounded the same, even between pairs that were bought in the 90s and the 2020s. If they break - just get a new pair. They're light enough that I kind of always forget I'm wearing them (which has lead to audio jacks being ripped out of laptops, or these breaking). The medium sized earbuds fit my average sized ears perfectly, and I never have to deal with pairing issues - they just work. Yes, there is a wire, but I never have to charge them, they stay in my ears, and they deliver great sound. I hope Panasonic make these until the end of time : ) ... show more

  • Nice basic earbuds
Color: Orange Style: No Mic
These are good basic earbuds. They do not have an inline button thing. They seem to be pretty good quality construction. The sound quality is also pretty good, not mind blowing, but very good. They seem to be a excellent value for their price. I got them because they are Panasonic brand & under $8. I got the kind without an inline button, because I hate inline buttons. I'm glad that Panasonic is still making earbuds without inline buttons. I hope that these will live up to the quality I expect from Panasonic & last a long time. One thing I noticed about the "ergo" design is that the speaker part on the earpieces are oval shaped instead of circular. I've never had any other "ergo" earbuds, so I don't know if that's unique or not. It doesn't seem to make a much difference in fit, but it can make changing the silicon pad parts slightly trickier than on a round one. The rest of the "ergo" design doesn't seem to be a big deal either. They don't seem to fit any better or worse than regular "non ergo" earbuds, but with the "ergo" design the ends don't stick out as much. They do seem to stay in place in the ear better than "non ergo" ones tho. They cost less than most regular "non ergo" earbuds, so I have no complaints about the ergo design. The last pair of earbuds I had were "fake brand" earbuds from a local store that cost $15 ("on sale") & stopped working after about a month. I don't beat up my earbuds, I just use them on my PC, I don't tie the wires in knots or pull on the plugs or stomp on the earpieces or anything like that. Yet it seemed like every time I got new earbuds they would cost more & break faster. I am sick of earbuds that have an inline button thing. I never use the button things. I don't even know why they are there, they don't seem to do anything. Yet it seems like every pair of earbuds simply must have them now. Some claim to have a microphone built in. I have no use for that, I use these to listen to my PC, not talk on my phone & my phone has its own mic anyway, why would I need one on an earbud? Some claim to have volume controls. I have never gotten any of these so called volume controls so do anything useful, I press the button, it does nothing; even if they worked I have better volume controls on my PC. My only experiences with inline buttons are negative. The last few pair of earbuds I had owned all stopped working because the tenuously soldered wires in the button parts broke. And the wires are too thin & the PCB is too tiny & fragile to try repairing. (I did intend to re-solder the broken wire, but two others - there were four in total- broke off just from me handling the PCB, the wires all looked the same & with no way to tell which wire went to which corner, I gave it up. It was not worth the hassle of dealing with a tiny part, seemingly designed to break at the slightest provocation) My conclusion is that the button things are built in as deliberate weak points of failure. Inline buttons are a blight to earbuds. ... show more
