Top Amazon Reviews

  • Outstanding performance
Style: 5 Handsets
The landline phone system we had in our home worked fine however the problem was that we were constantly bombarded each day with Robo Calls and all kinds advertising and junk spam phone call that were just never ending and very annoying to say the least. I did quite a bit of research on Amazon on the new generation of phones that included anti spam technology and ultimately decided up this Panasonic phone system after going through all the product reviews. I also liked the fact that it was made by Panasonic. The phone system I was replacing was also Panasonic and had served us well for many years so I have faith in the brand. Setup and installation of the system was straight forward and easy enough and within 30 minutes I had the system up and running and set up. I did have to read the instructions in order to set up my preferred preferences (voice message, ring volume, spam settings, etc) but I found the instructions very clear and easy to follow. This phone allows you to sync it with your cellular phones, which is a really nice option, but I have no interest in this feature at the present time so I didn't bother with that, however I did read the instructions on how to do it and it didn't appear to be to complicated. I may utilize the cell phone feature later.. I found the system to be visually attractive and of quality construction and the best part of all is that from the minute I activated the system the spam phone calls immediately stopped. It was like a miracle We would receive no less that a dozen such annoying spam phone calls each day, sometimes two dozen. It's been 2 days now and we have not received even 1 such annoying call. My wife and I are thrilled to say the least and if a spam call does slip through somehow all we have to do is simply press the "Block" call button and the phone and that number will never be able to call us again. The system comes pre-programmed with an internal list of known spam callers and you can add your own numbers to that list if you need to simply by hitting the "Block" button. Doesn't get any easier than that. This is really a great system, I love it. Its spam blocking technology really works well and the amount of other features that the phone has is amazing. If you're looking to replace your older phone system in order to avoid those annoying spam calls just order this system.... you will be very happy you did. ... show more

  • An Excellent Phone System
Style: 4 Handsets
Purchased this set to replace a similar 10 year old Panasonic wireless home phone system. I LOVE the 1-ring scam alert and the convenience of the one button call block. Additionally, I appreciate the larger type fonts on the keys & the additional range of the wireless signal. Overall, a well made & well designed phone system. An excellent value that I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Operating instructions manual can be viewed on-line but not printed.
Style: 3 Handsets
Just received this product. Looks good in person as it did on the screen. Only beef so far is that while it comes with a "Basic Operating Instructions" booklet of about 31 pages the "Operating Instructions" guide mentioned on the first page of the BOI while available on Panasonic's web site CANNOT be printed, only viewed! Even if you copy it to your pc the print block stays on. It is about 116 pages long. PS: Will post an update when I actually get it up and running. Update: I do like the look and feel of the handsets and the base. Sound quality is good. The handsets will easily sit upright, and I found that their batteries will last approx. 8 days on battery if not used. So far have not tried the Intercom or link to Cell features. ... show more

  • Great set of phones
Style: 5 Handsets
Was hesitant to purchase based on some of the reviews (range and charging), but have not had any of those issues. The range is great, handsets stay charged for 3 - 4 days off the charger. Purchased to replace an older set, so was familiar with the setup, which was easy. The Link to Cell is a great feature and the spam blocking seems to be working nicely. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Phone System
Style: 5 Handsets
It’s amazing how many robo calls stopped after we set this system up. There is a low battery alert in a lady’s voice when the charge is low. Scared the crap out of me the first time it went off was about 2am one morning. But I like this system !!

  • Make sure you set it up before the 30 day return period
Style: 5 Handsets
Bought this phone a few months back but did not set it up til recently. Having had my old Panasonic for over 15 years, I didn't anticipate any problems. WRONG. First, being a senior, I had hoped for a loud ring. Not particularly loud even on the highest setting. Ditto for the volume of the calls. (With my hearing aids and speaker phone ON.) Second, one of the handsets is not working properly in that the screen is grayed out and is missing about one fourth to one third of screen on the right. Thus, I cannot see how charged the battery is, I have to guess at what is on the menu or use another working handset as a guide. Third, not sure why but for some reason the base lost power and had to be powered back up. It only happened once in the week I've had it set up, so hopefully, it is not an ongoing issue. And although I have hardly used them, the handsets seem to be frequently charging. Fourth, since there is supposedly a warranty, I went to the website. It says to register the product first. (I thought I had registered it through the phone which has an item called "register" but apparently not.) To register It asks for the model number--there are two similar but different model numbers on the two stickers referred to. Then I have to find the serial number. These instructions were clear enough on how to find the information. Then they ask date of purchase, purchase price (what does that have to do with it--does the cheaper price mean you're low on the priority or does it mean that the cheaper price means "of course the telephone is defective" for that price. In any event, I looked up this information on the Amazon website But then, Panasonic wants you to upload a picture of the model number and the serial number. Unfortunately, my computer for some reason is not working in this regard so I am unable to upload this information, which means I cannot register the product? And if you have to upload the pictures of the stickers with the model and serial numbers, why ask this on the registration form in the first place? This is a bunch of baloney. In short, I'll have to find another way to register and find out about the warranty. I'm assuming there is another route, but it's already been troublesome and time consuming just to be able to exercise my access to the warranty. So added to what I consider a woefully inadequate registration and warranty process, the defect in the one handset and the over all mediocre sound quality of the handsets, all in all, I am extremely disappointed Until now, I've had good experiences with all my Panasonic products. If you have good hearing and are tech savvy and patient enough to comply with the rigmarole uploading, etc., this phone might be fine, but if you have any hearing deficit and like things (like warranty and registration) to be simple and uncomplicated, this is not the phone for you. So if you decide to buy the phone anyway, make sure you set it up asap just in case you need to return it to Amazon. UPDATE; Well, I guess the base unit losing power is an ongoing issue cuz it happened again. I suppose it's easy enough to resolve by disconnecting the base from the power cord per instructions, but for someone with arthritic fingers, even the disconnecting part can be challenging because the connection goes into a recessed area which is a tad hard for me to access. I have given up on the warranty because it's clear that Panasonic wants to make it as complicated as possible. When I'm in a better mood, I might try again. ... show more
