With these kinds of diy the first step is setting out all the peices and making sure you have everything. It took about 3 hours with breaks to put together, with a normal screw driver and no help. I managed to damage the piece with a screw because I underestimated how flimsy/delicate the wood is. It was not a walk in the park and I did struggle to get screws in place. Instructions could have a little more detail, not everything was labled. But i do like the finished product. I worry it being hit/moved, I don't trust it to hold up for too long. And the thing that bugs me the most, the front doors are not symmetrical!!! The left one droops and doesn't stay where it belongs!

Overall, I think for the price it was worth the buy. However, the instructions weren’t as clear as they could’ve been and so I ended up having to unassemble some pieces due to the unclear instructions. The doors aren’t even, it comes with premade holes/slots for every nail so this is just how it landed. It wasn’t as classy looking as it did in the pictures but it’s definitely good for the purpose of like a finished basement, a bedroom/kids room, just not a living room if you’re thinking “high end classy but on a budget.”

Looks great quite difficult to assemble due to visibility. Very excited to mount TV above stand. I have a picture but it won't upload. Not bad for price. I was fortunate to get it at $149.99

Assembly instructions are unclear.. make sure you know ahead of time what each piece is used for or you will end up redoing parts. The shelves are also about an inch too short for most hardcover books to fit, unfortunately. It does look very nice though
