This vanity bench is pretty nice as an addition for my kid's room. Assembly was really easy using just a philips screwdriver, and using a power tool version i was able to assemble the full vanity bench in less tehan 10 minutes. The build quality isn't horrible but it isn't solid wood either. It can support my weight (170lbs) okay and my daughter (51 lbs) has no issues with it. The top of the bench is cushioned but offwhite. the sides are pure white and match my daughter's room furniture. Her favorite part of the bench is the hidden storage underneath the seat. She can put a few items in there to tuck away and keep her desk clean. The biggest issue I probably have with this is that it doesn't slide on carpet easily. When I sit on it, I need to move the seat before sitting on it. Sliding the bench while sitting on it does not really work for me.

This is a great replacement bench for a vanity! My daughter's vold anity stool has broken several times and I got sick of fixing it. This seat is much more sturdy. It fits under her vanity desk perfectly! The best part is that it you can store your secrets in the lift-away seat! It was easy to assemble and the instructions were straight forward. My daughter loves this stool and is very happy with it.

This review is solely for the vanity bench—not the entire set. Assembly was fairly simple, but unfortunately, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. The bench is held together by 2-inch metal pins that twist-lock into adjoining pieces. While the pins themselves don’t fall out, there's no reinforcement to hold them snugly in place, which leaves the stool noticeably wobbly. That said, the best feature is the soft-close hinges on the storage lid. They prevent accidental finger slams—especially helpful in a kid’s or teen’s space. Be prepared to use a power screwdriver when attaching the hinges, though; there are no pre-drilled holes, and manual installation can be a struggle. The size of the bench is quite compact. It might work well in a teen’s bedroom or a child’s playroom, but it’s definitely undersized for most adults. At the time of this review, the stool isn’t sold separately, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless it were priced under $20 given the construction issues.

This is an easy to assemble vanity stool. The construction is particle board with a plastic veneer. Convenient storage underneath the cushion. No exposed screw holes or cam locks. Comfortable cushion with material that is cleanable by wiping. The only criticism I have is the cushion color isn't pure white like the rest of the stool, it is an off white, a sort of slight cream color.

This is a pretty solid bench. I will have to say the photo is a bit deceiving because it looked like a bench and a small nightstand, but it is only a bench. Since ordering the list seems to have changed a little, so that may be different now. It feels sturdy, and the top opens up for a small storage compartment. It is perfect for my wife's walk-in closet.

extremely difficult to assemble. the pieces don't really align properly. i don't understand why something so small and simple has such complicated assembly? the final result is nice for the price, not too uncomfortable and seems sturdy enough for a person of average weight.

This is a super cute little stool. It was easy to put together using a drill. The wood is not real and processed material smushed together. It is quite durable. I am 220 lb. And it can hold my weight. It is very close to the ground. This would be perfect for a childs room. It's very small. It is priced extremely high for the quality of material. It's a beautiful, clean, bright white color.

The bench is easy to assemble, included all the hardware and instructions you need to get you started. The seat itself is nice and soft, has a good leather-like material to it. The wood itself is made from particle board, however still strong enough to have someone sit on it. All the pieces fit together nicely, and I was able to put it all together with a single Phillips head screw driver. The compartment inside is a decent size too, making it easy to store various things inside. All in all, not a bad little bench!
