I was pretty blown away by this product. I like it so much better than the cleansing oils i've been using . I think i like the texture better..and the price? you can't beat it. It does just as good a job of removing my makuep. I'm a big believer in double cleansing..it completley changed my skin for the better. I never...EVER get pimples since i've started using the double cleanse method. And i love that this has ingredients like vitamins c and e and retinol. I'm 49 so retinol at my age is a must. It does a great job of cleaning my skin before going in with a face brush and cleanser. I'll never not double cleanse again. I recommend that everyone do it. And this is such an affordable option for that

EDIT: something has definitely changed in this product all it did was severely dry my skin out and I just didn't understand it I turned to my trustee Cetaphil moisturizing body cream and it all went away I don't know what they did but this is not the same I will never purchase again. What is there not to like about Palmer's.... I use most of their products every single day I absolutely love this one and mostly all of their products cocoa butter and coconut absolutely love them

I am probably pretty biased, since I usually enjoy almost every Palmer's product that I use. I have used the liquid cleansing oil from the brand and really like it, so I decided to give this balm version a shot. I have been using it daily for the past 2 weeks or so, and really like how effective it is at removing makeup and sunscreen. There are two things that some may not like about the product--like most Palmer's products it does have a light fragrance and it is a balm you have to scoop out with your fingers. These things do not bother me, but I know some people would be bothered. I enjoy the fragrances Palmer's uses--they are usually very light and I consider them a bonus. I've never had any adverse skin reaction to their products, and every time I try something new from them I am usually very satisfied--this product is no exception.

I’ve been using this for a few months now to cleanse my face of makeup (it’s the first product when I double cleanse). I apply it to dry skin and no longer have to scrub at my eyes with my wet cloth. This morning, my 7 year old was playing with ALLLL of the Halloween makeup and was a mess! She tried to wash it off and I heard an, “uh oh...” She couldn’t get it off. The Palmer’s Balm and a warm wash cloth got it off easily and gently.

To begin with Palmer's cleansing balm is excellent cleansing my face and neck when I don't wear makeup. But to my surprise when I had smudge proof makeup and eye makeup on I could not remove my makeup with just the cleansing balm I had to use micellar water. I have used other brands a cleansing balms that I like better ponds cleansing balm and it has been effective in removing my makeup. But I do not wear makeup often so using the Palmer's cleansing balm is a little thicker and moisturizing. I use it to cleanse in the morning and that night if I'm not wearing makeup. It does not irritate my sensitive skin which is also a plus

This item is one of my favorites. It has the most gentle slightly grainy texture, so you get this balm that instantly melts on your face - followed by very very gentle exfoliation when you use your fingers to apply. A rinse with a hot washcloth, and you wil feel as good as when you go to a spa. I'm serious. And it's so inexpensive. It's worth a lot more. Smell is pretty, and subtle too.

It’s amazing how it just melts all the make up and yet keep my skin ultra moisturized. I can just take a very small amount and remove the makeup of my entire face. Rub it all over softly and wipes it with a face wipe. No hard rubbing necessary. For the price, it’s best. I would recommend this to everyone with a dry to combination skin type. It is a hit oily in the end and people with oily skin might mot like it.
