At first I tried using resin... but I messed up the mixture and my project came out gooey... not the molds fault. So then I washed everything up and tried using my gympsum poweder (very fine cement) and it seemed to work out great. After an hour of hardening I pulled my cement out of it and everything was perfect.... except the cup part was way too thin... so i mixed a bit more of the cement (2 parts powder 1 part water) and just poured it inside the cup of the finished project. NOW its perfect... the cup bottom isnt too thin and the flower came out perfect. I will be using this over and over and painting it with acrylics to make it beautiful... cant even tell its cement. ... show more

This mold worked out great! A tiny bit difficult to pour into but nothing too difficult. Was very easy to get out the mold. I used some dried flowers and they worked well with the mold. I coated them in mod podge and I’m hoping they’ll mostly keep their color.
