Pleasantly surprised by this set. Washed upon arrival and had no issues. Covers both sides of my 12” thick standard size king mattress that sits on a 14” high frame. Falls about 6” from the floor on both sides. It’s tough finding an oversized set to accommodate the tall bed issue and this is it! The color is a bit more of a yellow tone ivory, but it still works with my aesthetic. Feels like 100% cotton as advertised. Wrinkles like true cotton, for sure! Knocked a star because I have a feeling it will only last so long, but we’ll see. It doesn’t feel cheapest of cheap, but it’s not high quality (didn’t expect heirloom at the price. Price is fair, imo). It is kinda thin, but I sleep with a flat sheet, and a micro mink blanket under it and feel just fine (and I run colder than most people on a hot day). I’d definitely purchase again just for the look, feel, and price. ... show more

Had these now for 2 years and have worn the heck out of them. We have 3 100 pound dogs that are never denied the pleasure of sleeping with us and yet this set holds up. We bought it in two colors and wash our sheets every 4 days (cause all three dogs shed) and yet they look brand new, sans a hole that I accidently put in it a year ago. Yet even with that hole and heavy use, the hole hasn't really gotten any bigger. That's a win. Looks so nice with the homey quilted feel I love. Warm and soft. Fits our king sized bed well. This quilt is lightweight yet warm. Not hot. It's difficult to find a cotton quilt that also has cotton batting for this price point. 80% cotton/20% poly. I'm thinking of getting a second one to layer with when it's cold because the two layers will still be lightweight. I love the smooth cotton and wave pattern quilting. My pup adores it and her nails don't get caught in the quilting. It is very generously sized yet thin enough to tuck under the mattress for that neat and tidy look. I actually purchased it for staging our home that just went on the market.I got the dark beige to keep a neutral palate but I'm eyeing the blue-grey one now. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do! It washed up with minimal wrinkling. I highly recommend it! ... show more

This quilt with its matching shams is lightweight and breathable fabric. I get too hot at night under most synthetic bedding, but this quilt feels like 100% cotton and breathes. If your room is really cold at night, you'll need an extra layer, but this one is pretty enough to go on top. It's generously made - hangs over the bed like an old fashioned bedspread - reaching almost to the floor on both sides. I've washed mine twice with almost no shrinkage or fading. I was skeptical when I saw that this was advertised for a twin extra long when I saw the actual dimensions. If you’re buying this for that particular size mattress and don’t mind that it barely covers the end of the mattress then you should be OK. UPDATE: I've slept with this quilt on my bed for the past few nights. Although my first review was a 4 star rating due to its thickness, so shall I say lack xx cc CTò and thinking it wouldn't be as warm as my other quilt on my bed because it is thinner, I WAS WRONG! This quilt gives the same warmth as my other one that's described in the original review I gave below. I took off one star because this quilt said it's 100% cotton with a 100% cotton fill, but if I didn't know better, I wouldn't have thought there was any fill at all because it's very thin. I did wash it in warm water and tumble dried it on medium heat with the shams only and it did come out great. It did not pill, and because there really isn't any fill, it did not fluff up like I had hoped either. Now, I did receive it in the original vacuum packed plastic from the manufacturer along with the plastic zipper packaging in the box, so it probably would have normally been taken from the vacuum packed package and put into the plastic zippered packaging if it was put onto a retail store shelf, so maybe it would have fluffed up during that time and that is why it doesn't looked filled and flat? However, I have another 100% cotton quilt, it just has a cotton/polyester blend fill, but it's double, if not even triple the thickness and you can absolutely feel and see the fill in the quilt. I use my quilt as a blanket under my comforter and roll my comforter down at night and because of that it doesn't sit on my bed as the actual comforter by itself, so other than it being thinner than I had hoped for, it's probably going to work out better for the spring and summer months instead of the winter months, which I'm not too mad about, although I did originally purchase this to put on my bed now while washing the other one, and it's winter here in PA. Other than that, the price was absolutely wonderful considering it's fully cotton, and I have no complaints! ... show more
