I travel for work and struggle to sleep when I'm in hotel rooms, mostly because they're too quiet. I keep an air purifier on at home and need the noise to fall asleep. I've tried iphone apps with white noise settings and it's not the same. The volume level options on this portable sound machine are great, and I used it for 3 nights in a row before needing to charge it again. I wish it had a timer on it, but it's not a big deal. This is a game changer I use this to help put my new born twins asleep. Huge difference from the night I use this and don’t. It even helps myself with sleeping , the volume is pretty decent and what I love most is the battery life it’s USB. I like the fact I can even attach it to my stroller when out and about and don’t want them fussing I even take it in the car. Babies are prone to white noises because of what they can hear from the inside. So, I bought this to help my baby sleep at night. There are only three white noises. I always set it to the “ocean wave” because surprisingly it put baby and I to sleep right away. I have insomnia and sleep deprivation but this setting always seem to work like magic. Have you ever been so desperate for your child to sleep that you would literally do anything? Me too--and that's why I have three white noise machines. I like that this one is rechargeable and you can use it on the go. You can use it in the park, in the dark, and even in the car-k ( I tried). I found that the battery will last through a nap for sure but if its going to be a while before you use it again, charge it! Because it won't last through that nap two weeks later without more juice. Overall, it works well. I've had it for a few months and its still kickin'. What I would have needed from this product to make it perfect is MORE VOLUME! My baby needs unsafe decibel levels for her slumber and this only allows for safe levels. ... show more

We've been using it for over 1.5 years... and it's still working great. I love it. I love that it's rechargeable and portable... plus it's strong and has a great sound. We use it every day mostly for a few hours at a time...and sometimes I leave it on at night until it runs out of charge....I can't remember the duration but the charge last a long time considering we use it on the highest setting sometimes. What I do is I have a sound machine in my baby's room... but I use the Hush in addition to it usually outside the baby's bedroom.... so that any noise we make doesn't wake up the baby. I have an older child and we homeschool... so anything to keep the baby sleeping is great. ... show more

Took this on a two week international trip and while I’m not a baby, this put me to sleep and kept me asleep like one every night of my trip! I usually sleep with the full size yogasleep noise machine at home and this was just as good if not better! I would give it five stars but after the 7th night the battery life was pretty bad and had to be charged a lot but a somewhat plus to that is it also works when it is plugged in. ... show more
