These paint trays are sturdy and have a large number of adequately sized spaces for paint - individual colors, mixing colors, and blending can all be done on one palette. It survived my 9 year old and her current hyper focus of mixing colors when painting her Halloween pumpkin. The only down side: When I covered both her and my palettes with press and seal to go back later, the pain still dried out. This is usually my go-to method for paint preservation, so I’m not sure what cause that particular oddity. Cleaning these palettes, especially with dry paint, can be a bit tedious, especially in the corners of square spaces. They DO clean up very well once you accomplish the cleaning. I would purchase these again, but I would also look for a better way to prevent dry out if you need to leave your artwork and come back. ... show more

These palettes are much bigger than i was expecting but they’re really nice! They’re a thick material so they’ll hold up well. Easy to clean too!

Overall this is a good palette, with plenty of spaces for different colors of paint. It is easy to clean out when you're done mixing your paints. The size is fine for use on a table, but it is rather large if you want to pack it into a bag to take with you for painting landscapes or other outdoor images. ... show more

I really like these paint palettes! Lots of different wells for paints and color mixing (a few different sizes too). I use these when painting and crafting with my kids and they are very easy to clean and take up little space for storing. Don't get me wrong. These are nice palettes. They are perfect for larger painting projects. It turned out to be overkill for my wife and myself. Our painting projects are for TTRPG games and have smaller needs. For us these large palettes end up wasting paint. However they work. They are easy to clean provided they are cleaned right away. They are simple injection molded plastic which makes me think they are slightly overpriced. If you stop at your local arts & crafts store, you can pick up smaller palettes for much cheaper. These palettes are perfect for oil or acrylic paint. The wells are large but not too deep and give you plenty of room for mixing. They are also very sturdy. But as much as I like them, I took away a star because 2 at $12 is NOT a great value.

There are also spaces that are perfect if you want to hold small amounts of water or medium. They are a large size that are great for larger projects.
