    • Does what it's supposed to
I received the sprayer and tested it with water first. First thing to note is that the instructions are basic, but if you have any experience with electronics or power tools, it should be pretty simple to figure out. All the parts are easy to disassemble for cleaning. Testing with water, you really notice the difference between the different sized nozzles. I'd say with water, the 1.5 is a good size to start with. I'll start here with latex paint and move up if needed. The volume adjustment also works, it's not a fancy control, but a simple screw that controls how much the trigger depresses. Sometimes the simple solution is the best solution and the volume control is exactly this. Testing with water, I could get good coverage at about 18 inches. The spray is not precise so any real painting will require proper prep and masking. Getting good coverage of about 36 sqft used half a container of water. I expect to have to refill often, but the trade off between weight and coverage is reasonable. I can't wait to use it to paint my hallway, kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. If performance with paint is different, I'll come back to update the review. ... show more

I stained our fence with this. We have a large fenced off area at our home which took about 15 gallons of stain to finish. This took an 8 hour day and frequent breaks but I can't imagine how long it would have taken without the sprayer. It's easy to use as you just fill it and spray. Much better than having to use a brush and is great for the price. It fits comfortably in my hand and the only thing we had to worry about was having a long enough extension cord to get to all parts of the fence. ... show more

This electric paint sprayer can be assembled in about 10 seconds according to the instructions, making it very beginner-friendly. It comes with three spray patterns and four nozzle sizes. I initially used the 1.5 mm nozzle to paint cabinet doors, and the finish was quite fine and even, with no obvious dripping issues. When painting wooden chairs in the yard, I switched to the 2 mm nozzle, which provided faster coverage, it’s easy to notice the difference between nozzle sizes. The flow control feature allows me to gradually adjust the output based on the paint’s thickness, so it doesn’t spray too much at once and helps reduce waste. At first, I didn’t get the spraying distance right and experienced a bit of overspray, but after getting used to it, I was able to control it well, and the overall paint usage was lower than expected. Cleaning is also fairly convenient. After use, I can remove the nozzle, clean it with the included brush and needle, then attach the cleaning connector and rinse it, this only takes a few minutes. However, it’s important to clean it promptly, as the nozzle can clog easily if left uncleaned. Since it is corded, there’s no need to worry about battery life, and it remains stable during extended use.
