Bought it on sale to paint a fence. Gun worked great for an hour or so the the hose exploded. Had to black tape it up to finish the job. Over all it saved me hours on hand brushing. Just needs a better quality hose.

I was not expecting much out of this for the price. However, I am thrilled with it! I sprayed 80ft of 6 foot cedar fence in about an hour. Looks fantastic and the sprayer cleans up quickly. It was an oil based stain and required nothing more than pouring through a filer and off you go. Loved it so much I power washed the old fence and am going to stain it as well. ... show more

This was really great until I tried to paint ceilings and beams. Does not work unless painting straight horizontal.

Really liked this thing. Sprayed 4 gallons through today to finish my garage. Thinned behr marque with the maximum recommended amount and it sprayed beautifully. Only put one coat on. For what this costs, it saved so much time. Well worth the coin. Probably the only complaint is it only has a quart size reservoir, so for big projects like this your constantly filling. ... show more

This paint sprayer worked well for my big project painting 500’ of fence (both sides). My only complaint - the cup is too small and the shape of it makes it impossible to clean out. Two key tools that helped me adapt to what I had - 1) a wide funnel that stands up on its own 2) a car wash bucket with spout to thin the paint and pour into funnel. As a woman I found the detached power and long hose were fabulous! To the makers of this Sprayer - if you make a new model and want a product tester I would love to try it! ... show more

    • So far, not bad at all.
I had to fight over whether to leave 4 stars or 5. I went with 5 because really, my complaint isn't huge. This is my first time owning one of these sprayers with its own little built in air producer. Been using various airbrushes for years, but I genuinely hate moving my tools from place to place and my air compressor is in a different place and used for pressure casting as well as for general, smaller airbrushing. I didn't want to move it around all the time, so I bought these. These little buggers really lay down some paint. My first time trying I was concerned my primer was on the thick side so I used the second largest nozzle and that was a MISTAKE. I downgraded to the smallest nozzle and things are better now. So far I have only run primer through it, but I will be testing out polycrylic sealer and enamel cabinet paint soon. At some point I also want to try it with woodworking stains and such. Will do my best to update. As for the primer, I have to thin it a tiiiiny bit. 1oz water to 20oz and I could probably go less water tbh, to get it through the runout cup fast enough. I don't want to risk it, but I almost feel like this could still push the primer fine if I didn't thin it at all. With the thinned primer, I am getting a slightly rippled texture, and I am not sure if its due to the amount of air this thing is pushing. The con I have for this unit is the air it produces is insane. And it carries paint WAY further than I want it to. I have decorated things over 10 feet away with little bits of paint that I did not want to decorate. Oh well. The primary way you control the amount of paint is through the nozzle size. That's mostly fine for preventing drips and runs. Its not amazing for reducing paint moving from air pressure or accidentally over-spraying. After the first cleaning I had thought the unit had stopped working or I had failed to clean it properly, but I disassembled and reassembled and it was working fine again.     • Paints well but has a lot of overspray
Great size, works well with latex and oil paint. I did thin my pain around 10% water ratio. Pro: lite weight, easy to operate. hose length comes in very handy for large area coverage Cons: overspray is lot more than it should have been. Nozzle holes are big for finish coat like poly or shellac or lacquer. Container has jar like shape so cleaning is bit harder if you have stuck paint. My hand barely reaches all areas. There is no paint can lid. It would be handy if they supplied one to prevent drying between coats. ... show more

After trying other paint sprayers and it taking hours to paint and getting frustrated and start using a roller instead to paint. I decided to try this air sprayer to paint inside of an old rv. Let me say it works great. Cut the paint job time in half. Price was not bad and worth the money. Love it!
