  • Project sized sprayer
I have to say that I am really impressed with this little paint sprayer. I have 2 other sprayers. I have a big-name brand sprayer and a midsized no name brand. This one fits in well with my other 2. This one is the smallest of the 3 both in size as well as size of paint reservoir. So, I won’t be doing big house sized painting or fence staining activities with this one. But this one is perfect for smaller jobs such as painting furniture, a small closet, and such. Being smaller I feel like I have more control with this and it is also much lighter with the smaller reservoir, but you do have to refill it more frequently. Just because it is smaller, it still doesn’t lack for ability. I think it paints just as well as my much more expensive brand name sprayer. It has several different tips with different openings sizes so you can choose the correct one for the correct job. Thicker paint and faster work with bigger openings, the smaller opening gives you more control and a much smoother finish, but you need thinner paint and to go slower. I am impressed that this kit came with both a screen attachment for the top of the reservoir but also a dripper to measure the paint viscosity. My other kits did not come with those items, and they are both very useful things to have. The instruction manual is pretty good as far as wording is concerned. Sure, some places the translation is choppy, but it is understandable. And it also goes through how to measure the viscosity and such as well, so it covers most of the bases to get you started. So far, I have just used this to paint a picnic table and a birdbath, but I am happy with how this worked on both and as I said, I will be using this for just those kinds of jobs going forward. ... show more

  • Paint sprayer
The item delivered fast and used it to spray stain my fence. it works great

  • Clogs easily
This unit clogs far more readily than I expected. Even properly strained and thinned paint can cause partial blockages. If you pause painting for even a short break, you risk nozzle build‑up. You need to fully clean every component right after finishing. It’s okay for small quick projects, terrible if you want to pause and resume later. ... show more

  • Well designed electric paint gun
This HVLP Spray Paint Gun from FLIMRER is my first electric paint gun. I have always used compressed air gravity and suction paint sprayers prior to using this gun. The first thing I noticed was the increased weight. It is not a lot more, but I also noticed that it feels more balanced than a traditional spray gun due to the counterbalancing effect of the electric motor assembly. This paint gun is loaded with useful features, some that I have not had on any other spray gun. The kit has four different sized atomizing nozzles that are simple to change and rotate to give you a vertical or horizontal elliptical pattern as well as a round circle. It even comes with a cone nozzle that allow you to use it as a blower. Since this is a siphon feed sprayer, it requires a paint dip tube. On all of my other sprayers, this dip tube is fixed and the paint cup must be removed so it can be adjusted with a wrench to position it for either spraying angled up or angled down. This sprayer has a knob on the top that allows you to change the position of the dip tube without removing the cup and making a mess. This is a great feature. The trigger has an adjustable stop that limits the trigger travel that limits the amount of paint volume the gun is delivering. This is handy in giving you a uniform application without having to govern the flow with your fingers. I practiced using this gun with water as suggested in the instructions. The sprayer provided a nice uniform spray pattern and the trigger limit helped to assure the correct liquid flow rate. As with any spray gun, you need to practice to develop a steady speed and maintain a uniform distance from the workpiece for the best results. Cleanup with this gun is easier than my other guns because most of this gun is plastic, with a few metal parts to control the paint flow. This kit includes an attachment that takes the place of the spray nozzles to allow you to backflow the gun for cleaning. Only the backflow nozzle is provided, so you need to supply a hose to attach to it and any fittings that you need to attach the hose to a water/solvent source. If cleaning with water, you can easily attach the hose to a sink faucet or a garden hose with the correct fittings. I would suggest using an in-line filter when using this cleaning method to keep any contaminants in your water supply from lodging in any internal passages that are hard to clean out. At the current price of $29.99, this a great value and well worth the spend. It will do a great job in painting/staining walls, woodwork, and any general painting. For automobile and fine detail painting however, I will stick to my more expensive spray equipment. ... show more

  • Very happy with this paint sprayer. Genuinely surprised how well it works
I decided to try this HVLP paint sprayer after tackling several painting projects around our 125-year-old house and outbuildings. I’ve used brushes, rollers, and rented professional sprayers in the past, so I was curious how this budget-friendly option would compare. At a fraction of the price of many big-box alternatives, I wasn’t expecting much—but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how capable and user-friendly it has proven to be. Unboxing and First Impressions The packaging was excellent—everything arrived well-protected with clear labeling and no missing parts. Inside you get the main spray gun, four different nozzles, multiple pattern options (horizontal, vertical, and round), plus dedicated cleaning and blowing joints that make maintenance straightforward. The included instructions were much more detailed and helpful than I anticipated, with good diagrams and practical tips for beginners. Setup and Ease of Use Setup is genuinely straightforward. Once I had my paint thinned to the recommended consistency (the manual provides clear guidance on this), the sprayer assembled quickly and felt comfortable in hand. The controls are intuitive, and switching between the three spray patterns and four nozzle sizes lets you adapt on the fly for different surfaces and detail levels. I appreciated the lightweight design, which reduced fatigue during longer sessions. Real-World Performance I’ve now used this sprayer on a full kitchen repaint, an outdoor shed, and approximately five interior/exterior doors. The results have been consistently smooth and professional-looking. On the kitchen walls and cabinets, it delivered even coverage without the roller marks or brush strokes I’ve dealt with before. The shed took a couple of coats of exterior paint and handled the larger surface area well, with minimal overspray when I used the right pattern and kept proper distance. The doors came out especially nice—the fine mist created a factory-like finish on both flat surfaces and edges. It’s fast too. Projects that would have taken hours with traditional methods were completed in a fraction of the time. I found that practicing on some scrap material first helped dial in the technique, but the learning curve is very manageable even for DIYers. Maintenance and Cleaning One of the standout features is how easy it is to clean. The included cleaning joints and blowing function make flushing the system quick and effective. Proper cleanup is essential with any sprayer, and this one doesn’t fight you on it, which encourages regular use rather than letting it sit unused. Value and Recommendation For the price, this HVLP paint sprayer offers outstanding value. It’s not a commercial-grade tool for daily professional use, but for homeowners, weekend warriors, and occasional larger projects around the house, it performs remarkably well. It has saved me significant time and delivered better finishes than I could achieve with brushes or rollers on these projects. If you’re looking for an affordable, versatile paint sprayer for house painting, furniture, cabinets, doors, fences, or similar projects, I highly recommend the FP002. It’s a solid performer that punches well above its cost. I’ll definitely reach for this again on future renovations. ... show more

  • Solid little sprayer for cabinets and furniture. Better than I expected
Got this through Vine and decided to try it on a set of old kitchen cabinet doors plus a couple of outdoor chairs that needed a refresh. I’m not a pro painter, just a homeowner who usually struggles with brushes and rollers hurting my arm from all the strokes. Setup was pretty straightforward. It comes with four different nozzles and three spray patterns (horizontal, vertical, and round), which actually made a difference depending on what I was doing. The wider patterns worked well for the flat cabinet doors, and the round one was handy for the chair spindles. I used a water-based paint thinned a bit as recommended, and once I got the flow dialed in it laid down a surprisingly even coat with less brush marks than I usually get. The cleaning and blowing joints are a nice touch. Cleanup still isn’t my favorite part of any sprayer, but being able to blow the leftover paint out and flush it with water made it less of a pain than some other budget sprayers I’ve tried. It didn’t clog on me during the job, which was a relief. A few honest notes: There’s definitely overspray (as with all sprayers), so wear a mask. It’s not whisper-quiet either. Also, thicker paints will need thinning or you’ll get sputtering, but they recommend you thin it anyway. The plastic feel is what you’d expect at this price point, functional but not tank-like. For furniture, cabinets, doors, and smaller exterior pieces, it did the job nicely and saved me a lot of time compared to brushing everything by hand. I wouldn’t use it to paint an entire house exterior, but for the projects it’s marketed for, I’m happy with it. Would use it again. ... show more
