I was so tired of painting by hand that I opted to try a paint sprayer. This unit works very well. I can't compare it against air sprayers or other brands as I have never used it but I will say that having this turned a multiple hour job into just one hour of painting. I needed to paint my basement walls and decided to spray instead of using rollers. I followed the provided instructions on use and cleaning but there was no instructions on thinning the paint. I did find some helpful recourses online. The included paint filters kept clogging when filling the paint gun reservoir. I got about 30-40 square feet of coverage for 1000ml of paint. The unit clogged on me several times causing paint to back up into the motor housing. If the unit clogs or has splotchy output, disconnect the motor housing first to prevent the paint backup. After a couple of refills, I found it helpful to take the gun apart and clean the suction tube and nozzles prior to each refill. It got the job done without much dripping but this gun is really meant for smaller projects/items. I did not experience that much overspray and because I was painting masonry, any splotchy areas are well hidden. I would be hesitant to use this on furniture or items where you want a really even finish but there is a learning curve and this was my first time using this type of paint sprayer.

Every once in a while you buy a new tool and when you get it you feel stupid for not having bought it years ago. Recently I felt that way when I finally got a pocket hole jig, now I feel that way about this. I had a large plywood cabinet for my van I wanted to seal using polyurethene, so I loaded up the sprayer and tried it out. I was surprised that the poly came out like a fine mist, barely visible, but it quickly built up on the plywood and made a fine uniform layer. I painted a cabinet 4' long and 3' tall in about 3 minutes, inside and out, it was amazing and the next day I had a beautiful uniform coat with no drips or brush marks. Since I used water soluble poly I just filled the sprayer with soapy hot water and ran a bunch through, cleanup just took a few minutes. Don't be put off by the low price, this unit seems very powerful and does a great job. I probably wouldn't try to paint my house with it, but for just about all other projects it's more than big enough. Highly recommeneded.

I use these to paint some raw wood wall shelves that I ordered and this little sprayer was perfect. I thin down to paint slightly and it produced an even beautiful coat of paint that tried smooth to the touch and looks absolutely professional. Cleaning was a pain in the butt, but it is every time no matter what gun is used. I’m just glad this produced a solid consistent stream that is fully adjustable and has zero power fluctuations when using and provides an even coat of paint every time five star. Five stars given.
