My granddaughter had her first experience with quad roller skates. She enjoyed it so much, she asked for her own skates. The buckle on these skates pull the ankle support snug against her leg, the padding in the skates are thick but still allow for proper socks. She can put them on herself and I have peace of mind that her ankle is protected while she uses them. She loves them also for their sparkle. The wheels light up when the roll, a twinkle continues on as the wheel comes to a stop. Great design, fun product. A bonus also, the skate grows with her!
