I bought this because I had a shed to paint, and it would have taken me hours to do it with a brush; plus I was painting T1-11 siding and a brush just wasn't getting it. I used a Behr water-based paint product, which you have to thin before you use it, but the instructions tell you how to do that. It has a very powerful motor in it and the paint went on Great! It came out a little blotchy, but that's no faut of the gun - I realized I had the spray adjuster all the way open - DOH! - but it still came out pretty well. The instructions are easy to read, and the gun itself is very easy to clean and comes with the brush and pieces to do it. I used about a half-gallon to do one side and front of a 10x16 shed. It's very easy to control, but a bit heavier than it looks, which I think is a good thing. Overall, YES, if you're looking for an affordable, easy to use and clean HVLP gun, this is it! I am very happy with it.

Never used a HVLP sprayer to paint exterior home surfaces before. I was pleasantly surprised with this unit particularly for its quality and price! I found it easy to use and more importantly easy to clean! My only "complaint" would be no adjustment for the size of the spray pattern. You can only adjust the volume of paint you spray by increasing or decreasing the trigger pull. The only way to adjust the size of the spray pattern is to get closer or further from your painting surface. A little practice and I was able to make it work fine. There can be considerable over spray so keep that in mind. Recommend this for bigger jobs.

I purchased this sprayer not expecting much. We used it at my mom and dad's house and it preformed great. It was easy to use and clean up. The spray was easy and the coverage was very nice. Worth the money I spend, I would recommend.

Purchased based off of the reviews and glad I did! It is well made, great quality and does exactly what it says it will do!! I've used to paint refurbished furniture pieces and also as a leaf blower (does great at that as well)! This is my first paint sprayer and most likely the only one I will ever need to purchase! It breaks apart easily for cleaning and super easy to assemble! Perfect for a variety of painting needs big or small! I painted this end table on my first use and it turned out beautifully!

This sprayer works really well and does a good job of covering surfaces. It is really for small jobs given the size of the tank. The only concern that I have is product support, if there is a problem, because I cannot find the manufacturer or vendor on-line.

worth every penny! I bought this thinking id use it once if it even worked and then throw it away after I stained my dock. but this is a great sprayer! easy to clean, sprays beautifully. I've used it a few times now and its great. I personally think it sprays better than the high dollar units
