Waste of money. I bought three of them and they all had the same issues. They did not want to spin and the battery chambers did not close right. Had to throw all 3 of them away. They did not offer compensation, the seller just swept it under the rug. Please do not buy from this seller.

This is a very fun paint craft. It's very straightforward with instructions, and all of the paint papers fit inside the center which is really nice for putting it away. We found out the hard way that if you do not make sure the plastic "splash guard" is not seated all the way paint WILL go everywhere. That being said I really wish it clicked into place, it more or less just sits on the top so you have to be careful not to hit it when your putting paint in. It also came with markers which we had fun using to make cool designs. The paint is permanent. Just ask my curtains. They explained in the directions that once the paint dries it's permanent but with little speckles it's hard to get out of clothing. So beware. All the paints have a holder while your working which is great but it's definitely an adult supervised toy. But it is so much fun to play with!

Great product! I remember making spin art when I was in elementary school at my school's "fun night!" I was excited to see they still make these machines, and I wanted to share this fun with my neighbor's family. I brought this kit over to their house during the holidays, and everyone of all ages had such a great time making spin art (adults included!) This fun kit includes everything you will need: paints, paint brush, a variety of shapes of cardboard to decorate, and even a package of colored markers. I was concerned this would be a messy project, but all the paint stayed inside the machine while it was spinning. (There is a nice plastic guard that you place on top to keep the paint splatters within the machine.) I love that this machine is shaped like a butterfly! There are slots to hold the paint bottles built right into the device. The neighbors had some extra family members visiting that day, so the spin art kit got a lot of use. Kids of all ages loved making spin art, and even the two year old was able to participate by selecting the paint colors and dropping the paint into the spinning machine. When the kids were finished, we adults gave it a try, and we all had so much fun! This creative activity was a hit with all ages, and there were plenty of supplies included in the kit. Everyone enjoyed getting to keep the pieces of spin art that they had created. This machine does require batteries (3 AA) which you will need a small screw driver to install. I highly recommend this spin art kit! It is such a great creative activity that all ages can enjoy. It would be a perfect activity for a birthday party, vacation bible school, or school classroom! I work in a school, and I look forward to incorporating this activity with my students. About my Vine reviews: Vine members are allowed to select certain products for review. As with many inexpensive toys with moving parts and battery-operated, your mileage may vary. Mine seems to work fairly reliably, though not always smoothly. Thankfully, spinning is all that's necessary to please most child Picassos in the making. Do remember to put on the guard before turning it on, lest you end up as an art piece in addition to the paper. My child artists are having fun with this!

My daughter loves this. Just pour in some color as it spins and done. She loves seeing how many colors can fit onto one of the cardstock pieces, and gets creative with it. It's a messy project though, no matter how hard we tried ink ended up on the sides or the table, it doesn't sling a lot out but there will be splatters. It came with quiet a few of the cardstock pieces but I haven't found a refill kit, so I ended up using my cricut to make a pile of them, but scissors would work too. A cool gift for kids, small enough to store away in a shelf, and will keep them occupied for a long time.
