I always enjoyed paint my numbers as a child so I wanted my kids to have some as a good intro into painting. These are fun prints that are I’d friendly. The only complaint I have is that the paint jars themselves are very difficult to open. My kids can’t do it and I had trouble.

These are fun little paint-by-numbers that your kids can do. My daughter actually loves them, there is a fish one that my daughter is dying to do as it works with the play she is working on at school and really wants to give the finished product to her teacher when she's done. The pictures are a good size and there aren't a lot of places that require adult precision to get them painted like you see in some of the other paint-by-numbers canvasas. It comes with a good amount of paint and 2 sets of brushes which is nice because kids like to destroy those things so fast. Overall this is a really nice little paint set if you want to keep your kids occupied for a while.

The canvases had numbers on each space multiple times so even if you don't finish each space you can still see what color you need. I wish that labeled the numbers are on the poster for each picture though. It came with some nice wide bristle brushes and some fine tipped brushes. This set is great for a 7 year old because it has simple pictures to paint.

This paint-by-numbers for kids is absolutely perfect for our 8-year-old. She is someone who thoroughly enjoys crafts and has that artistic touch allowing her to excel in anything she creates. This paint-by-numbers kit has allowed her to produce some amazing art and has given her the confidence and the skills to go do it herself as well. We love the kit and everything it comes with. The oil paints are high quality, the brushes are also very nice and she loves sitting down and immersing herself in the experience. It's such a fun gift, and she looks forward to painting. As an adult I have done one paint by numbers and as relaxing it was, it took a looooong time to get to the end result. This set definitely wont take as long but it definitely kept my 5 and 9 year old occupied for a good couple of hours. I like that it comes with 2 sets of brushes so they both can paint at the same time. The numbered areas are big enough that they don’t struggle. This would probably be a great activity for even younger kids to learn colors and numbers.

I got these for my neice and after a few tries she just kept going over the black lines so she got frustrated and wanted to do my non-kids paint by number instead. I switched with her and I realized why it was so hard. The picture is for kids but the thick black lines are hard to stay in and make it look sloppy. I had black paint for another kit i had and had to go back over a lot of the lines to clean it up. She did my picture great!
