I purchased these to start painting miniatures and they work great, they don’t have a very fine tip but you can put them heavy paints and they get back into shape (make sure you wash them well after each use) I recommend these for someone who is just starting so you hay be rough with them and then jump into some more delicate brushes ... show more

I teach a rock painting class to seniors - these brushes are perfect - easy to use, easy to clean and the fine brushed work well when drawing line and and small features. They also hold paint well without having to refill brush with paint. For the price it's an excellent choice.

The flat ones are amazing if you have any kind of split cake paints, and they're all very easy to clean. The color is so beautiful too and holds up well after washing! My husband and I bought these with the intention of repainting the wood siding of a 2000 square foot house we planned to flip. Welp! It almost cost us our marriage! At first we both agreed these brushes were perfect for the job. But after almost 6 straight days of side-by-side painting we had gone through about half the pack of brushes, and were getting on each others’ nerves so badly that we weren’t even looking each other in the eyes at dinner each night. After another week the remaining half filled gallon of paint was so thick and dried out it was unusable and we had to throw it out. Being as how we were flipping this house for profit my husband was very upset that we had just wasted half of the $18.98 per gallon of paint. At this rate we would have thrown out at least another 2 whole gallons of paint before the house was finished! And I knew our marriage wasn’t going to survive that prolonged ordeal. Worse yet it looked like we were going to be a month behind schedule on completing the flip. We finally just bought a different brand of similarly sized brushes to finish the job. Time will tell if the switch makes the difference and gets us back on schedule. If not, I blame the inferior quality of the original brushes for the delay and any unforeseen loss of profit. ... show more

So I knew this before I bought it, and it's probably unfair to ding the seller for it, but this brush set should include a fan brush. It doesn't - the brushes are exactly as advertised, but it would be smart to include all types of brushes. The brushes are pretty durable, definitely easy to use (I do not have any hand issues so this might be different for those with arthritis or something that affects fine motor function. I do have rheumatoid arthritis in my right hand, but it's not too bad so the small sizes don't bother me. The handles are very small which helps with storage, but probably isn't helful for older artists ... show more

These paint brushes are actually amazing for the price you pay. I got them in the pink color and they are adorable! They also have super small brushes that you can paint tint details for as well as big brushes. Wouldn’t use these for painting furniture but I love em for arts n crafts!!!
