    • the 3M sticky hook holds really well
as big and heavy as it is i didnt think the 3M sticky hook would hold it up, but its been fine! we didnt even have to use the screws, the sticky hook holds it up very well! this is a huge canopy, i was very happy with the size and quality! would buy again!

I got this for naps because I didn’t want to spend hundreds on more curtains. Makes me feel safe and luxurious. It also smells like a Halloween costume which I’m not mad about. It’s like laying in rosemary’s baby’s crib.

I really wanted something to help me sleep during the day and this is a disappointment. It is a beautiful piece, larger than I expected. I would recommend planning for your own hook to install. It comes with a sticky pad (think command strip,) no actual screws into the ceiling. I didn't use their hanging kit though since I had am existing hook in the right spot. Going to buy some real black out curtains and pin them to this thing. Maybe that will do the job.... ... show more

This was one of the more expensive canopy sets, I bought it hoping that would mean less fuss on my end. Turned out to be total nightmare. The hoop is cheap and flimsy, so it will not hang in an actual circle (photo of the ring between my nails so you can see how skinny it is, I think my nails are thicker) which wouldn't matter as much if it was just creating the form, but this is the only support. It reminds me of those Halloween witch hat brims (but much larger) and the fabric pulls only from the sections with ties when hung, not all the way around, so it sags in between. One of the ties on mine was sewn on folded weirdly in half and falling off, I fixed it myself before realizing what a waste of time that would be. The rest aren't exactly great, and I noticed light coming through holes in them while hanging it (picture of this as well.) I love the idea of the solid black with sheer overlay, unfortunately, mine was not sewn correctly. The sheer piece had been looped under the solid and back up to the top in one section (super weird, took forever to figure out what was even going on) so the solid piece was in it's own little "basket" of sorts. I used a seem ripper to let it out to see how it would hang and it was fine. After hours of crawling up and down the ladder, sewing, steaming and trying to get this to look right, the hoop is still bending at weird spots, nothing I can do about that so it's going back. Very annoyed that I wasted my day with this, but it was a good workout! If it was decently made this would be so lovely, such a shame! The hook and 3mm adhesive are great, very strong! ... show more
