I love the Graco Pack-N-Play for travel purposes because of its easy assembly and simplicity. The entire crib folds into itself collapsing into its center when you pull the center bottom strap. Click the buttons on each side of the crib to collapse entirely. It creates a compact and condensed rectangle which can be easily placed in the zip up travel cover case to travel with or store when not using. The mattress for this crib is multipurpose as it is also used as the cribs cover when stored. Meaning, the mattress for this crib is the same thicker fabric piece that surrounds and holds the collapsed crib in the deconstructed position when not in use. Make sure that when you’ve broken down the crib and are placing it in the carrying bag that the handle strap attached to the mattress is facing up and goes through the handle hole in the cover so you have a handle and strap to transport. The only downside is that the pack-n-play is a bit heavy to carry for long periods, but then again, it’s much lighter than any alternative I’ve tried. I’ve checked this crib along with my luggage on many flights and have never had a problem. It’s simple and basic design is refreshing. I was looking for a simple, lightweight pack-n-play and I was overall very pleased with the quality and functionality of this one! What I love: - Ease of use: I found the set-up/take down super straight forward. - Convenience: I like that the mattress pad doubles as a carrying. The wheels on one side (like a wheelbarrow) are super convenient for rolling the pack-n-play around without disrupting baby and without having to deal with locking/unlocking wheels. It also seems easy to clean and that it will hold up well overtime. -Versatility: the bassinet feature is a huge plus— it is large enough that I can lay down a changing pad and change baby right there -Lightweight: I can carry the pack n play up and down the stairs myself without even having to fold it down. -Appearance: I like that it’s a more minimalist design— my baby loves to look at the hanging stars but I like that being a removable feature. Could be improved upon: -Mattress pad: The accordion-style mattress pad that comes with the pack-n-play does not lie completely flat. Adding a fitted sheet makes this problem even worse and creates little waves. The pad is waterproof so you don’t necessarily need a fitted sheet but it would be nice if Graco made some options to better fit this mattress pad. Even without the fitted sheets, it’s still difficult to get the pad to lie completely flat this leaves small gaps between the pad and side of the pack-n-play (also an issue in bassinet mode). -Design: For some extra peace of mind, I wish the mesh went all the way down the sides or the mattress pad was thicker and sat up a little further— so the mattress pad meets mesh all the way around instead of an inch or two of the black fabric. Overall thoughts: For the price point, I’m very pleased with this Graco pack-n-play. It’s sturdy, great quality, easy to use, and lightweight. Given the issues with the mattress pad, I’ll probably look into something else for overnight use as my little one gets bigger and starts rolling around. However, this is perfect for use during the day for naps and playtime and I know I’m going to continue to get great use with this product! ... show more
