I desperately needed to replace the down comforter that was on my bed, but I wanted another one that was high quality. After reading all the wonderful reviews of this comforter I thought I would give it a try. Before I hit “add to cart” I spent some time deliberating over whether to buy the all season or winter weight. I am always cold and I live in the Northeast, so I wanted something that would keep me real warm, but I’m also middle aged and the night sweats have begun so I didn’t want to be too warm. The All-season was perfect and that’s ironically the one I went with. It is so warm and so soft! I feared with it being an all-season weight that it wouldn’t be warm enough, but I was wrong. I’m pretty sure if I’d purchased the winter-weight one I would have been too hot! My husband runs cold and he thinks the all-season is the perfect amount of warmth. Oh, and it’s so deceptively light. You wouldn’t think a comforter this light could be that warm, but it is! ... show more

I ordered this because of the size. And it exceeded my expectations! I allowed it to sit out of the box on a spare bed for a few days to fluff back out. Off and on I would go in the room and kinda fluff up and squeeze each area and then fluff it up. After about two days, this down comforter was soo full! Anywhere it looked flat or not as “filled” I would simple move the down around that square and break it up. Then I also placed it into the dryer to fluff it up even more. I purchased a super king duvet which was the same width but a little shorter, so adding this 120X120 colossal king into a super king duvet it gave it even more luxurious fluff. It literally soups my king size bed and is beautiful. It’s not too hot or too thin. I tend to sweat at night and was worried about it being too heavy, but it’s not. I’m absolutely obsessed with this comforter! Praying it holds up well because it’s one of the most comfortable ones I’ve ever owned. It also has ties all the way around as well to attach to a duvet. I used the ties and the magnet pins and this insert has not slipped AT all inside my duvet. Looks like it cost a lot more than it does. Love love love! ... show more

Let’s be clear: this isn’t a $600-ish dollar duvet insert, but why would you expect it to be when you’ve paid ¼ of the price? I purchased this to replace one of my old duvets after having it for 12 years. My puppy had an accident and it wasn’t worth cleaning so I tossed it. Full disclaimer: I didn’t choose this one for any reason other than it was the only one with same day delivery. My expectations were incredibly low. It arrived within an hour, I took it out of its box, removed the plastic & let it air out. There was not any strong chemical-y smell which was a plus. The fill is decent and thankfully, once inside a duvet cover, there isn’t any obnoxious crinkling sound, etc. that can be common place with inexpensive down inserts. The fill is even for the moment. I don’t expect a lot from it, nor can I comment on longevity yet, but it seems promising. Simply put, you’re unlikely to find an eastern king sized duvet cover for any less than this. You also are unlikely to find one that is any better quality. There are absolutely nicer duvet covers out there, however, they will come at a much higher price point. All in all, this is the duvet cover to purchase for value, comfort and obtaining one quickly without having to leave the house. I’m using it with expensive, high quality bedding and honestly, with that being the case, I have no qualms about it. I wouldn’t use this on its own, but as an insert it is perfectly acceptable. Outer fabric is extremely soft and not crunchy and hard like many comforters I've looked at. Fluffed up nicely in the dryer as recommended and the oversized comforter fit great in my duvet cover. Additional tie loops in the middle of each side in addition to each corner helps duvet cover stay in place and evenly distributed. So I am always hesitant to buy private label stuff like this on Amazon, as you never really know if it will be good. This down comforter Is as soft and fluffy as my aunt's comforter in Aspen from Frette that is literally $5k. I was seriously blown away by how nice this is. I can't comment on softness as it's now in a duvet cover. I got the lightest model, slept with it for the first time last night (I live in SOCAL), fluffy, airy, and breathable. I wake up at 5am every day... I swear I couldn't get out of bed for 30 mins cause I was so comfortable lol.
