I just returned from a 6 week trip to Europe where this was my daypack as well as the travel pack into which I stuffed my netbook, a 7" NookColor tablet, a small journal, my SONY NEX 5 camera and two lenses and a pouch which held a spare battery and memory cards as well as my glasses. In the front pouch I put cash and credit cards along with other odds and ends. The bag was great. On day outings I usually had my NookColor (for the digital guidebooks), my camera and sometimes a rolled up sweatshirt as an additional layer for cool weather. The side pockets held a spare set of reading glasses and the occasional 1/2 litre water bottle. I had no problems of any sort, either with functionality or, apparently, security. Since my return I have ordered a Pacsafe 350 backpack as this bag was a little cramped at times with the things I stuck into it and I sometimes wanted a little more space, particularly when we were on a train or in a plane. But it worked great for all my daily needs and I tend to overpack, so it isn't surprising that it got crowded at times. This bag was everything it was said to have been, which was what I wanted and needed as a woman traveling alone in Ireland and Italy. Plenty of room as a day pack both in cold and wet and hot and dry climates. I was able to fit in all of the essentials, even cramming surprisingly large bottles of water in one of the outside pockets and a small folding umbrella in the other. When it rained unexpectedly in Florence, it was nice not to be at the mercy of the poncho-selling Romani. Unhooking the zippers from the keepers didn't slow me down too much either. I also purchased the Pac-safe wallet that attached nicely to the inside of the bag with a metal chain to help me ensure I would not accidently leave it behind or have it snatched from my hand at crowded check-out stands or street side cafe tables. Two things on the slightly downside were that the bag was a tad on the heavy side for me and the pad on the strap slipped around quite a lot so I occasionally had to put it back over the slide/buckle thingy on the strap or risk having that bit of plastic rest on my neck. All-in-all, though, a bag I'm glad I own and that will definitely be making all my trips in the future. ... show more

Lots of pockets. The new locks are so fiddley, I doubt anyone can get into your bag easily! I love that it’s made from recycled material. Comfortable straps. Lots of room. Perfect day or travel backpack. This is my third pacsafe because my daughter keeps ‘borrowing’ them!

All of the security features at the bag offers are fantastic. It's a really nice sleek bag and does a good job keeping things secure. There are lots of different pockets and spaces to put things. I took my bag on an international trip to Italy and have only used it on that trip. The trip was only 10 days and the shoulder strap is already starting to come off of the bag. So disappointing! I'm going to see if I can get it repaired or replaced. Hey common critique of the backpack or the shoulder straps coming off and tearing. That's exactly what happened to me. I didn't overfill the bag or put too many heavy things in it and it still is starting to tear away. The size I got, 20 l, was good, but I probably would have gone with a 25 l.
