Description

The Pacsafe ECO collection is our most sustainable collection yet by using almost 100% recycled materials and components. For when you need ample storage for your outdoor adventures, this 25L backpack will fit all your gear while making you feel comfortable and supported. Make use of the multiple pockets and separate compartments to keep your belongings organized. The ergonomically-designed shoulder straps offers better support and carrying comfort. The back panel padding was also ergonomically designed to support your back and to create excellent airflow to keep you dry. Stay hydrated on the move with two large water bottle pockets and a compartment for a water bladder or laptop. Made with 14 recycled plastic bottles, which were used in the lining, mesh, webbing, and labels. The outer shell fabric and certain buckles were made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon, which comes from waste such as discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpets and industrial plastic.

SECURITY: a thief-proof zipper and RFID- yes! When you’re new the zippers will take a bit to get used to- but isn’t that the idea to prevent easy thefts? The only one i struggle with is the main large one that fits 4 zippers in one. But the clasp itself works great. It’s just getting the 4 zippers in there in such a limited clasp size. But again- isn’t that the idea? if I have to take a second or a couple of tries to get them in and out and open when I’m intentfully doing it without other variables- should do the trick with would-be thieves. SIZE: This is a daypack and not a travel packer. But with two extra areas (travel size pack doens’t have this) and a sliding area for laptop, iPad, or fluid bladder (has a hook for this too), and combining it with packing compression pills and now discovering i can buy packable clothes too- this then becomes a better and more versatile and more convenient carry size for travel packing as well. So for me the versatility + daypack designed size makes it great. The main compartment is bigger than you think and goes a bit deeper than your eyes initially think. I carry a packable raincoat at the bottom at all times just incase. what a nice luxury to have. STYLE: I’m not worried about aesthetics these days over utility, so i won’t be a good person to explain this to you. It feels decently sleek for all i can do with it (2.5L bladder or laptop/ipad slot- it as a hook to keep the bladder upright just like in typical hydropack designs). The color is nice. Different from most backpacks but not too bright. I used this internationally for walking about. It is not what you want to stuff with large odd shaped items. Carry an eco bag for shopping. The straps are comfortable and keep the bag tight on your back. Great for exploring. There is a pouch to keep ID's and passport secure but it flaps over the main elastic pouch inside which can be annoying (reason for 4 stars). Since the bag is Lockable it keeps little fingers from getting into it. It's been an overall winner for me. ... show more

This backpack is great in just about every way except price. It's a great day pack for travelling around crowded areas and has enough storage space to carry a day's worth of basic supplies for two people. I generally had a few pieces of extra clothing, a couple water bottles, snacks, travel documents & money, and a few souveniers. It has a sleek and stylish look and the security features seem pretty robust. The zippers were smooth and seemed sturdy and the lock was easy to use (it pairs well with an additional small combo lock for added security). I really like this backpack, but the price is pretty rough. If you are really worried about petty theft, this is a great bag. I probably haven't needed this level of security on my trips yet though. ... show more

So the Pacsafe website itself says this backpack has a padded sleeve for a laptop. Well the sleeve is just a slot at the back of the main compartment. On one side is the back of the pack, where it presses on your back. On that side there is a very minimal amount of padding and fabric. On the other side there is only very thin fabric. In other words there is zero padding or any protection between the laptop and the rest of whatever is in your backpack. I don't want my charger or sunglasses case to be banging against the laptop with every step I take. The laptop sleeve bottom is also too low, I can feel the bottom corners of my laptop through the outside of the backpack when it is the sleeve. I am sure my laptop would get destroyed in no time. I am returning this backpack. My current backpack is great for my laptop but doesn't have the security features. Really disappointed in this pacsafe bag ... show more

Great product but have not used it yet, will be going with me on our trip to London and Scotland. Great features and I expect it will work like all my other PacSafe's, I bought over the years. Maybe the locking mechanisms could be easier to maneuver but we will see

Backpack was okay. Had to return it due to shoulder straps hurting my shoulder and only had it on for not even two hours. Doesn’t really have a lot of rooms but does have lots of little pockets inside.
