I’d been looking for a silicone free serum for a while and so was happy to see one from Pacifica. I already like a lot of their products so I was excited to try this. To start, it smells really good, it smells very subtlety of coconuts, and not sweet like you might expect. The scent doesn’t linger so I can apply perfume without worry about the scents competing. It is very liquidy over thick, like some serums with silicone. However it does a great job at calming frizz and fly aways without leaving the hair looking heavy or oily/greasy. The formula is great because you can also use it on your skin, so I don’t have to wash my hands after using. I don’t know how much of a bond effect it has, but that’s not why I use it. I think most hair types could benefit from this, though if your hair is really dry it might not be a thick enough formula as it absorbs fast. I have shoulder length 2a/2c hair, I primarily use it on the back where my hair is 2c and frizzy. I use about a dime size at a time. I really recommend this for anyone looking for a silicone free serum, it takes care of the frizz and leaves your hair, and ends, soft. ... show more

Glass bottle and dropper. Works amazing in my frizzy hair to keep fly aways mostly down and makes my hair feel soft. The smell is pleasant and not overbearing. I use what is still left on my hands after putting in my own hair on my baby's curly hair and it doesnt irritate her/makes her hair softer.

Other than the amazing tropical smell, it really does help smooth my curly and frizzy hair nicely. I rub just a tiny amount between my hands and run it through the ends where most of the frizziness is.
