I was hoping for a more bright citrus note, but on me the scent of blood orange faded quickly. I'm not quite sure what remained. It smelled "pleasant" but no more. Perhaps if sprites on after a shower using a soap with a more dominant citrus note this might work for me. I did not have a reaction after leaving a small first test on my arm for about 30 minutes. However, I did feel a bit of a sting tgst lingered for a couple of minutes on the skin of my forearm. It felt like when I boiled orange peels to make an orange oil spray for my plants and accidentally splash it on my skin. I love the smell of this perfume. I get lots of compliments when I wear it. I love it for the perfect coconut/beach smell, but I get lots of compliments saying that I smell like vanilla, which is also a good smell. I would definitely keep buying this. I bought this based on reviews that said this perfume smelled like the tropical/coconut smell similar to suntan lotion. This smells nothing like that. This is a very vanilla forward scent. There is very little coconut smell. This smells more like the vanilla Little Tree car freshener, which I don’t want to smell like my car’s interior. If you enjoy vanilla, this scent is for you. If you are looking for a body spray that smells like coconut, this is not it. This also does not last long on your skin. It works well in your hair or on your clothes but wears off quickly on the skin. The price is reasonable, there is a good amount, and the spray bottle is of a good quality. The bottle doesn’t leak or feel flimsy and cheap. This scent should be advertised as a vanilla/coconut scent. If the advertising had been more accurate I would not have spent my money on it. The Coconut Nectar is the closest thing I've found so far as a dupe for Brazilian Crush Cheirosa #39 that was discontinued. It's not as "toasted" smelling, but very close. I'd give all of the scents I bought 5 stars, but they don't last the day. But for the cost, they last pretty well.
