I bought this pack of toys for my dogs on 02/25/21. It arrived on 02/27/21. Within less than an hour, my dog had simply shredded the blue teeth cleaner/dental toy. I immediately took it away, and tossed it out. A few hours later, he threw up a few chunks. After a call to the vet and closely monitoring him, we thought he was ok, and any potentially ingested pieces had been vomited up. Wrong. A week later, 03/08/21, I woke to him throwing up again. He stopped eating, cried non-stop, and clearly was in distress. Over $400 later, the culprit was found. He had a half dollar-sized rubber chunk of the toy sitting in his belly that he finally threw up. This product almost killed my dog. ... show more

    • Great Value & Superb Variety In The Packs!
Great value and supports a cause! I've been buying these Pacific Pups toys for about a year, maybe a little longer now. Are they durable? Some toys are and others not so much. I have four chihuahuas all with different levels of play habits and chewing needs so this big bag gives them all something to enjoy. I'd say for my non-chewers they are durable but then I have one chewer that just tears through any toy given to her in a matter of hours. The tennis balls in this bag are durable enough to last a long time until they get dirty and start making a mess. The favorite amongst all of them are the floss toys - they enjoy tearing those apart and fight over the giraffe as it's their favorite. Ropes are always a bit as they like to drag them up and down the stairs and fight with each other over them. I like that there are only a couple of stuffed toys because those make huge messes and once they get chewed, they are down a toy. Since all of my dogs like fresh toys, I buy these large packs and give them a new toy about every two days so that I can take old torn up toys out of circulation and replace them so it always seems like they are getting something new to play with to keep them stimulated and interested in the toys instead of my furniture taking a beating for them being bored. I also live the fact that the bags of toys come with poop bags and a little holder - that's a nice little feature that's not counted towards the you count - so you get those as a bonus when you order any Pacific Pups pack. The price oiitn is perfect for what you get and it's wonderful to see that proceeds are also used to help rescue animals that may not otherwise have a chance in this world. My partner and I adore our rescues so we want them to all have the life they didn't have before coming to our home. I also get the sense that our toy purchases are appreciated by our babies. Our dogs want so little in life - some food, rubs, a toy, and some big blankets and they are happy as can be; so I don't mind spending money every month on a bad of toys that helps others. Overall, I keep buying these because of the price, quality, and variety I'm offered in one bag. It beats trying to go to a major chain and spend hundreds on a couple of toys that maybe only one pup will enjoy. There is something for everyone in these variety packs, so if you have more than one pup, you'll certainly get more bang for your buck finding out what each pup enjoys. You can buy the Pacific Pup singles as well - I've done that in the past but they get bored with the same toy each day - sometimes they want to squeek all day and other days they just want to lay down in bed and chew for a couple of hours on the dental floss toys. This is a great value but it is misleading. You don't get 18 toys. The 2 little blue things in the pic that look like tubes are actually 2 rolls of poop bags. That's the only reason I'm giving this product one star instead of 4, I feel the wording and picture are misleading. That's not right! I will order from this place again because I love their mission but I still feel they should be more clear in their product description. ... show more

I have a 6 month old golden retriever who I would not consider an aggressive chewer. For reference she has had a rubber bone for 2 months and has barely made any progress on it. Except for the rope toys, every one of these toys I've given her has been destroyed in less than 5 minutes (and I'm not exaggerating). They are destroyed so quickly I'm not comfortable giving her anymore out of safety concerns. ... show more

    • Amazing variety, great quality —not meant for big dogs
I just started reading bad reviews of this product after talking with my daughter about how great the quality and quantity is for the money. Typically these toys go for $4-$6 each. Yes it includes two poop bags. But 16 toys in total. We have a havanese, 11 pound 6 year old. She always destroys her toys, for a little dog with little teeth, takes them apart, removes the squeakers, pulls out the stuffing. So we go through a lot of toys. That’s expected. So for $24, it’s worth it. Some reviews complained about the ‘dangerous’ parts of the toys (squeakers, plastic). But that’s what every dog toy includes. So i have to dismiss those comments, I just as well assume dog owners don’t ever buy their dogs toys, this so standard material and parts. Overall excellent value for the money, very good toy variety (the rope toys are especially durable). I will buy again once our dog has gone through this batch of toys! ... show more

    • 1 month old lab mix puppy loves them
he's only been playing with them for about 5 days, but my 1 month old black lab mix absolutely loves almost every toy in this pack. Not sure how the standing chew toy works, and the noise ball thing is too big and hard for him to care about, but none of them are broken or torn up *yet* and he loves the rope toys the very best. I'm not sure how durable they are as he doesn't have much jaw strength yet, but for now, I am very pleased with my purchase, especially for the price. He's so cute running around with the carrot in his mouth (: I would recommend this for puppies that aren't super destructive quite yet, as that is where my pup is in life right now ... show more

    • VERY poor quality
I thought this was a great package of toys for the money but it ended up costing me $1500 in vet bills. My lab would pull of parts of the rope type toys due to the poor quality. She was also able to almost immediately take chunks out of the rubber and plastic toys. Those pieces made what the vet called a “necklace of rubber and plastic “ in her intestines because they stuck to the rope which had to be surgically removed to keep her from dying. And before you even think it- no she was never left unsupervised with a toy. We would immediately take it away when we noticed her destroying it. But because the quality was so poor they would only last about 10 minutes tops. ... show more
