One of the tent poles came with the metal piece pinched in the wrong place, making it impossible to insert the smaller black piece inside (hardy har har). As sexual as it sounds, this is right in the middle of the pole so when we put the tent up, it did not work and popped out quite aggressively. We were able to splint it (shout-out to REI for those videos). But as a first time owner of a tent trying to set this up with a 12 year old in my living room who kept saying she was excited to "pitch a tent", the experience was less than ideal. I will say, the product is well made other than that one section of the pole. The bottom is a thicker layer that comes up about 4 inches on the sides, which I would assume makes it much more water proof outside of a living room. It wouldn't survive a bear attack but it is packaged well and easily transportable. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Most people are probably buying this because of the price, and for the price it’s honestly not bad at all. The instructions are sewn into the bag on the inside which is a little annoying but I guess it keeps it from getting lost. The assembly is simply but you definitely need two people for the bigger size tents (I got the 6 person tent). I’m happy with the tent all in all, but I definitely wouldn’t trust this in bad weather. We went out to the Everglades and the weekend was super windy and very rainy. The tent definitely leaks, the rain cover doesn’t do much to help. And because the poles are so cheap and flimsy, it really can’t be trusted in windy conditions. There were a few times over night that the tent caved in, in about winds at around 10mph. While I wouldn’t bring this tent song again when I know to expect not-perfect weather…I would absolutely use it again if I’m expecting our usual south Florida sunny weather. It’s fine under a little rainfall, just a sprinkle. But beyond just a light rain, the dripping is very annoying. The 6 person size is pretty roomy, though as with all tents, take the capacity with a grain of salt. I would say that realistically, 3-4 people can fit sort of comfortably in it, with their gear inside. I opted for the bigger size as we also brought a dog and we wanted the extra space for him to be comfortable as well. The stakes it comes with are super cheap ones, the first thing I did was replace the stakes. Considering the cost, it’s really not a bad choice. My 15 yr old loves everything about the tent. Except for the size. This will not sleep 4, it barely slept 2. Even then, they were still side by side squashed like sardines.

I've had better tents. This would be a good tent for backyard camping or even indoor camping, as my kids enjoy setting up tents inside (mostly to test, like we did with this guy). The material is cheap and after I folded up the tent to put back into the bag, the bag ripped at its seams. It's made of the same material as the tent and so I don't think the tent could withstand much. Also now we don't have a tent bag to put it in. Among cheap tents, this is probably the worst I've had. I would recommend Ozark Trail from Walmart over this 100x over. ... show more

The tent is very lightweight. There were quite a few loose threads but no visible holes or gaps in the seams. For the money I didn't really expect much more but hope the tents will at least gets through a few years of cub scout campouts. It was easy to put up. My 5 year old son and I did it by ourselves. I took it down alone with no issues and managed to fold it small enough to still fit in the carrying bag. The size was perfect. We had plenty of room for 2 cots, food, camping chairs, and clothes with plenty of room to walk and move around. ... show more

It’s very big, I got 6-person. Due to its large size, you’ll need help assembling it. It came with NO roof piece (the curtain) idk how else to describe it. I had to return it due to that. The big windows were mesh and bc of the missing roof curtain, it was like I’m lying outside with no protection. I received it on the same day if my trip, which made my experience worse. I’d recommend buying it to text it yourself, if you don’t like it, you can easily return it. I was worried how to put all that size back into the packet, my sis helped me and we got it in with no much trouble!!! Waiting on my refund now. ... show more
