I saw the image, saw the price, the duffle's construction and knew this was exactly what I was looking for in a rolling duffle bag. You don't get ready to "bug out" of a place w/substandard equipment. I oughta know after so many moves in my lifetime. And moving boxes? That's a nope. Too many don't have handles, and I need to be able to move stuff around quickly on my own w/out a lot of strain on my body -- even w/ purposeful downsizing. If this sounds like your situation as well, then look no further. It is a great bag. Sturdy and mostly well made. The (nearly) perfect size - maximum L+W+D for checking. I had one already but my son took it to school with him so I ordered another one. Still a great bag but I discovered too late (the day I was packing to leave) that the end pocket had no zipper! The pocket is there. The opening is zippered closed but no zipper to open it; so it become unusable. The end pocket is designed for shoes and I liked it for packing protein shakes away from my clothes. Was looking for a bag for that was reasonably priced for my 4 year old son's hockey gear. Three bag had plenty of space to fit all his equipment. With the wheels and pull out handle he can carry it by himself. It seems well made and should last.

Don't buy this item. This rolling duffle started coming apart the first time I used it. I had to pay $15 to have it wrapped in plastic film to get it home with my clothes inside.. The 1 year warranty comes with a $20 return fee and is complicated, requesting extensive paperwork that doesn't exist. The company will not stand behind their products. ... show more

I have been searching for a replacement for my 30" rolling duffel, which has performed bravely over at least 10 years and umpteen miles, but which is fraying -- and no longer manufactured. At last, I can say "Eureka!" -- and more. To date, this Pacific Gear duffel has been a champ on 5 international and 2 domestic flights. I like having a single cavity because I use packing cubes (except for shoes). The main problem with rolling duffels is that they do not stand up straight (an understatemen: they generally fall over). While this one is not immune from the problem, it does stay vertical (albeit rather like the Leaning Tower of Pisa) most of the time. I facilitate this by using one luggage strap vertically to hold my packing cubes inside the duffel and another horizontally around the bag exterior under the handles. However, this trick did not work (except to keep the cubes in order) in my previous rolling duffel, while with the Pacific Gear bag, it mostly succeeds in fostering verticality. I also appreciate the additional exterior side pockets, which are especially useful for the maps, brochures, and other kinds of literature one accumulates on trips abroad. The olive color is attractive. The material is so far pristine (which cannot be said for the Samsonite split duffel my husband purchased at the same time). Thank you Pacific Gear. ... show more

I have bought two of these suitcases now, and I can happily vouch for their quality and durability. The description and pictures match the product exactly. After buying one for myself I liked it so much that I decided to also get one for my gf. The wheels roll seamlessly and smoothly, the handle pulls out and back in without any issues. So my old Adidas duffel bag finally broke,and my 4 day cruise was coming up so the price was right and pulled the trigger on it and I have to say I like it better than the old one it just works the bottom is solid the wheels seems to be good the handle and straps holds the 40 something lbs I put in it,my only concern would be the zipper on the long run not the best quality but it got the beating from 3 different airlines with layover,so I guess I can't complain I will definitely buy it again,if you are a regular traveler no so sure is your best option.I just go once a year to Canada and once a year to Florida and this bag just works for me . ... show more
