We bought this bike for our 3 year old. It is his first bike and needed something he could learn to peddle on and eventually ride without the assistance of training wheels. This bike is the perfect size for him to get familiar with peddling and start to use his balance. We have been super pleased that he enjoys using the bike and it is easy for him to use. This seems like a great bike for him to learn on. The training wheels are removable so as he gets older the bike can adapt. Our son loves the dinosaur design and the colors looks great in person. It came well packaged and required very minimal assembly. The assembly that was required was very straightforward. It feels very sturdy and made of quality materials. This bike is priced right and compared to other models we were looking at is a great value. We have been very happy with the purchase. If you have a little one learning how to ride (and loves dinosaurs), I would definitely recommend this bike for kids around the age of 3-4. ... show more

My daughter chose this bike out of all others. I was lucky the price was the most decent. It was $109. It's very pretty. I had to loosen the chain by removing the wheel connector and putting it back for my little one to be able to push the peddles. It was way too stiff. My son's bike I purchased somewhere else was also like that, so I guess it's the way most kids bikes come. It's a shame because it's not easy and requires a good wrench. I was disappointed that it was missing the nut that tightens the seat in its place. I didn't want to send it back because of it, and disappoint my daughter so I purchased a whole new connector set for $7 something since I couldn't find the type of nut alone. Now it's working great and my older daughter is getting it too. But unfortunately price went up to to $138 I think. Quite a jump in price. Promised her that I'll buy her this one. Too bad. We bought this bike for our 4 yr old for Christmas and she loves it. She’s riding it around the basement. Assembly was very easy and can do with common tools. Approx 20-30mins. Appears to be a stout frame and materials are quality. Would recommend this to anyone. MattB

missing a set of nut and bolt for attaching the front cover to the handles. the gear cover is cracked in 2 different places. too much hassle to return, just giving this 1 star. and it's not really meant to be used without the training wheels.
