  • Ok product
Looks great and all but the instructions need to be a bit more clear. As well the sellers to be more specific on what bike it can go. Just to pull it on my suzuki katana 93 I need to do a lot more plug and play. I gave it to a friend and worked perfect for him since he had a newer motorcycle

  • If you’re good at wiring go for it.
The media could not be loaded. Product as described. I’m happy with it. Installation mechanically is drilling two holes in your front rotor, installing the magnetic pickups and mounting the sensor and supplied bracket (in my case on the front caliper mount) and mounting the cluster. Most of the electronic signals are easy to wire up-all ground switches. I’ve a 2-cyl bike and it was reading half-rpm when in 2-cyl mode, so switched it to 4-cyl mode and it’s accurate. Dialing in the speed signal too a few test rides while monitoring speed on my phone via gps. All in all perfectly happy with the unit- I’ve had it installed for about a month now and about 600 miles riding and so far so good. Glare is an issue at certain times, but understandable. ... show more

  • No Instructions - flashing red LEDS when speeometer is >0 MPH
Seller provided Instructions in MS Word - The Document was in Chinese, Painfully translated the document and 80percent made no sense. I was able to determine the Power On and the speedo input. One thing to take note is there are red LED lights at the top that flash outward whenever the magnetic speed sensor is triggered No way to turn them off Black tape could be used to block them from sight. While this seems well made I am returning this item seems like a Beta release. If they provided proper instructions and the mating connector with pigtail leads it may be worth it. ... show more

  • Black (12v ignition), red (12v constant for clock), green (ground)
I read other reviews before buying. The person who left the one star just assumed color instead of looking at instructions. The black wire (12v ignition) turns on and off the speedometer. The red (12v constant) is for the clock memory. If the red wire gets disconnected the clock goes back to 00:00 AM. INSTRUCTIONS: It does come with instructions but not very helpful Left signal, right signal, and high beam is easy to figure out. RPM WIRE: Tap into CDI signal wire FUEL SIGNAL WIRE: I did my own research on the fuel level because not much documents were on the internet. Full: 0-11 ohms 80%: 12-32 ohms 60%: 33-50 ohms 40%: 51-68 ohms 20%: 69-87 ohms Empty: 88ohms or above Disconnected: fuel gauge doesn’t appear BELOW ARE FUEL SENDERS THAT AMAZON SELL: Gy6 fuel sender (old Hondas)(3 wires): Ohms are way off. Up to 600 ohms 240-33 ohm fuel sender: Correct direction (full/empty) but not right ohms 0-190 ohm fuel sender: Wrong direction. Full/empty swapped. And wrong ohm. 0-90 ohm fuel sender: Correct ohm but wrong direction. You can use this but you might have to install it at the bottom of the tank. Install it upside down to get the correct fuel reading. TEMP SENSOR: Your temp sensor needs to be in the same ohm range. 699 ohms (cool) - 82 ohm (hot) FINAL THOUGHTS: It’s $50. It’s cheap. My original TaoTao atm50 Pony’s speedometer is $30. And to change out all the light bulbs to LED would’ve cost more. If you don’t use any of the wires it simple doesn’t appear. I have a scooter. It doesn’t have gears like motorcycle. The gear number does not appear on the speedometer Fuel gauge gave me the most trouble. Might be easier to go with an external fuel gauge Condensation does allow moisture into the display. There is a hole to allow air in and out. But that hole hurts more than it helps ... show more

  • Good but has a few issues

  • works pretty well on a 1998 Seadoo GTI jetski!!
used this to upgrade my GTI jetski to full digital panel. worked GREAT. even speedo worked. used the original magnetic impeller and just used 4200 to glue the pickup right above the original pickup, wala.. i got speed. i had to set the pickup to 8 magnets and 30cm or something like that.. smallest i could get it, then just adjusted the mag counter until the speed was right. wala. also used temp sensor on the water output from the engine, and the tach went right to the origanal tach line. check engine light works in reverse for seadoo, so with this thing, light on is a good thing. i also use my jetski's in salt water, and this thing is still going strong.. no water leaks at all.. and trust me when i say this, because i get it VERY WET.. i mean, i've had this thing 3 to 5 feet under water several times per trip. ... show more

  • Awesome
Installed on a gen 1 busa. Works and looks great. Had to mess with the settings to get everything adjusted right. Wired factory speed sensor in with no issues.
