I had paid for a pair with all the bells and whistles I dropped them once and even they had the scratch resistant film and multiple little scratches shown all over the lenses. 600$ down the drain. These work better and for the price these would be throw aways. These have stood up to their description with flying colors. I will never pay for full price for brand name fashion frames again. I was having lunch and the General Manager came up and complimented my frames 23$ frames. I said “Thank you they are worth 3x their price.” She made a confused face and I whisper to my sister I only paid like 20$ on Amazon for these and she laughed out loud and my mother chuckled. Very sturdy frames that look like the glasses Clark Kent (George Reeves) wore. But who cares since they are for computer use. The focus works for the distance I sit from my two monitors (c. 18") and for reading my phone screen. If I look up at my TV, which is c. 8', the image is a bit out of focus, but the glasses are not designed for distance. But they are a bargain since the other option is optometrist progressive lenes at 10-15 times the price. ... show more

Replaced my expensive prescrition reading glasses that felt too strong at 1.5. They were uncomfortable because I wasnt able to see my surroundings clearly while wearing them. I purchased the 1.25 progressives and am very satisfied with them. I take 1 pair to work and the other I keep at home. I use them all all the time now. Simply awful. Really. I purchased these glasses with the minimal amount of magnification ... 1.5. I wanted the lenses to be absolutely clear ... with no magnification ... when viewing distant objects. My distant vision is nearly perfect. I hated the constant magnification reading glasses I have used in the past. They worked great for reading, but looking up from a book or computer just resulted in a fuzzy view of more distant objects looking thru those fixed magnification lenses. So I hoped for glasses with a progressive amount of magnification: 1.5 in the reading zone (the bottom quarter of the lenses) but 1.0 in the distant view zone (the upper half of the lenses). What I got were glasses with progressive amount of magnification. 1.5 in the reading zone but probably about 1.25 in the distant view zone. Still fuzzy when looking at distant objects. I will not be walking around my home, or work or driving, or most anything else with these glasses on. Instead these glosses are going back to Amazon. Awful. No better than constant magnification glasses but a bit more expensive. Don't bother ordering these. If your distant vision needs fixing, visit an optician. If your distant vision does not need fixing, don't mess with these glasses. ... show more
