I was excited because those are cheap in comparison with Aero garden but it turns out you get what you pay for. Plants take much longer to grow and they only grow about an inch or so,and dry out. I believe the sponge density it too high and roots cannot grow through it. Will not buy again

If you want to start your own seed starters for you Aerogarden instead of buying the prepackaged AG kits I would recommend theses for reusing the plastic holders.

I suppose in a specific type of seedling setup they might work, but for general seed starting they are just cheap, small, not very porous, and practically useless. I get the better sponges for 6 bucks more.
