I put these on a set of 3.5" coaxial speakers in the front dash of my car on the factory radio. At first, without these bass blockers, the sound was loud and crisp but only up to a certain volume, then the bass distorted the sound out of the dash speakers even when the bass was turned all the way down. I added these and problem solved! No more bass distortion at high volumes and sounds beautiful. I personally felt though that it somehow effected the db of the speakers, they just seem a little less loud now but maybe I am just hearing the difference of the music with all those frequencies taken out ... show more

Extremely satisfied with the amount of bass it filters out of my new tweeters! I drive them with a 200 white receiver that was built in the 80s and the sound is amazing and I am extremely satisfied with these filters as they are doing exactly as they were advertised!     • An absolute necessity for small tweeters.
I took a chance on these bass blockers after my expensive Infinity Kappa tweeters blew up due to a bad installation by a professional installer. The Infinity tweeters came with their own cross-overs but they were not supposed to be wired into the cables of my co-axial Alpine door speakers. They did not last long due to the over-whelming bass impact and excessive power that they were not intended to handle. These bass blockers did the trick to prevent my cheaper replacement tweeters from blowing up the same way. They are also specific as to their power rating. ... show more
