Not an audiophile so IDK. I was told I needed these for my 3.5" dash speakers. I added a crimp male spade to one end of this, and a crimp female spade to the other end. This enabled me to quickly and easily plug this "inline" on the positive side of the speaker. Inexpensive and easy to install so why not I guess? Their little logo sticker does not adhere well at all, one had fallen off already in the pack. ... show more

Works perfect on my Fosgate 3 1/2" dash speakers. I kept blowing speakers when I got a new head unit and I didn't know why . I researched bass blockers and gave these a try . Worked like a charm and i am still able to use my blown distorted speaker because it filters out the bass frequency and all I hear now I clear highs. These have come a long way! i bought a pair roughly 20 years ago and they would cause the music to cut on and off at high volumes. Not the case. Installed on a set of Hertz 3.5s with an alpine mini amp feeding it 45watts RMS and they sound amazing. Nothing but mids and highs with great sound quality! ... show more
