I bought some JBL 6.5 door speakers for my older Silverado, and I was going to hardwire the speakers until someone mentioned they had these adapters. I was super excited, plus they were so easy to use, they fit the factory plug, and the prongs on the speakers perfectly. I didn’t have to cut any wiring, and the quality is outstanding. The plug side to the truck was perfect. If you upgrade the speakers from the factory ones the plugs that go to the new speakers were the wrong size. Luckily I have a large assortment of wire connectors so cutting them off and putting the proper size connectors for the Rockford Fosgate speakers that the truck was upgraded to was not a big deal. Other than this they worked well. Again the connections to the vehicle were a perfect match. I gave these a five star since the speaker side connections can all be different depending on the maker of the speakers. ... show more
