  • GREAT AIRBRUSH BUT COULD BE CHEAPER
GREAT AIRBRUSH BUT COULD BE CHEAPER If you want detail or cover this airbrush, is your liferaft, brings two sized of needle and noozle, 0.2 fine detail and 0.6 cover, with the fan cap.. Yes a fan pattern like a spay gun. The only brand with this type of fan cap. 1 or 2 inches, adjust the pressure or viscosity. if you stay way the airbrush over 3 inches the atomization is not good. (just talking about the fan cap the atomozation with the normal noozle and needles are great.) If you consider this brand over IWATA, Devilbiss or badger. This airbrush is head to head with Iwata and devilbiss, but the DARG of devilbill, just came with one needle size ever the trigger is great, never comes so close to fine detail like this one (VISION). Compare with Iwata, So far i can not tell you if this is better or worse, almost equal, the only thing is this paasche airbrush comes with less pieces and is easier to clean. IF you are familiarized with Paasche you can set this airbrush cheaper. OK if you consider to buy the Vision airbrush of Paasche, you have to consider this. The Talon of Paasche, is the same as the Vision... The only few different: 1) BESIDE that VISION black chrome plating body over the golden chrome body of the Talon, Talon airbrush and Vision is the same, the only thing is the MAC (Micro adjust Valvule) and the trigger. You can assemble, Talon and separately purchase 0.2 needle and the fan cap if you want. ... show more

  • 0.6mm and fan cap are awesome...the rest is nothing special.
I bought this after reading numerous reviews. It seemed a lot of reviews either loved it or didn't care for it. I ended up buying it for the features. Several different nozzle / needle combinations, trigger stop to help a beginner control paint flow, fan cap, and the air flow control. Having used it a bit I can say it's nothing special. With the 0.6mm nozzle, fan cap, and a quick disconnect fitting installed it weighs in at 123g. Not as heavy as the Grex Tritium.TG3 my wife uses for body paints as that is a hefty 230g, but I've seen other airbrushes come in 30-40g lighter than this Paasche. I have struggled to get the 0.2mm and 0.3mm needles to seal in the nozzle. I've cleaned them. I loosen the chuck and reseat them. There is always a slight paint leak such that even when I'm only wanting air I still get some paint coming out of the tip. These were brand new nozzles, right out of their packaging. I don't have this issue with the 0.6mm nozzle / needle. I also found the built-in air flow control to be worthless. It can work when you have it threaded nearly all the way it for minimal air flow, but when you want max air flow and thread it out there is suddenly a lot of play in the threads and sealing o-ring. Bumping it with a finger causes motion (think wobbling screw in a hole that's too big). This accidental bump changes the air flow and affects your painting. It's not a good feature. I'd rather have a flow valve on the incoming line. I really like this airbrush with the 0.6mm nozzle and the fan cap. It's great for priming and painting larger surfaces. I'll use it for models like car bodies or air plane wings / fuselage. I'm buying a different airbrush to use for detail work. ... show more

  • Fabulous Airbrush!
I gave this to my Son for Christmas. He uses it to paint car models. He's a perfectionist. He said this airbrush works like dream!! Very pleased!

  • Pretty decent gun!
Nice gun! performs pretty well in numerous applications...but right out of its fine looking box the .2 mm needle was already bent from manufacturer...so i sharpened and polished it and away it went! Has very smooth control of air and paint flow...and does some wonderful detail work! I own several Iwata eclipse guns and have been very pleased with thier performance....I bought this paasche gun to do my finer detail work and after using it exstensively for over a week now several hours a day i would purchase another one of thier products..and i would also recommend it to a friend..... ... show more

  • Awesome airbrush
This is a great airbrush. I build scale models and it lays such a great coat. It can do pincel lines up to very thick. I don't know what is with the bad reviews! Spray Gunner has been absolutely amazing!

  • The best airbrush I have used.
The best airbrush I have ever owned it is well worth every dollar. I used this daily often for 8 or more hours painting fishing lures and have only needed to replace the tip once in a year. I went out and got one more of these and a talon as well and love them. I will not be going back to IWATA anytime soon. ... show more

  • Love this airbrush
Love this airbrush!!! It's well-balanced and sturdy as hell. I prefer it over the Iwata line of airbrushes for balance and hand-feel and will probably purchase additional Talon airbrushes in the future. Despite Paasche's claims that this is the airbrush that replaced the AB Turbo line... which it is really close... I still prefer to work with my AB Turbo airbrushes for super fine detail. ... show more

  • My husband loves this airbrush
This airbrush replaces another Paasche airbrush that my husband was using in his hobby. The first airbrush wasn't as expensive and often clogged. The new one is soooo much better as the paint doesn't clog. He loves it, well worth the price!
