  • Great tool! Watch out for nozzle tip split, can be fragile.
Style Name: New Vesion
Fan head can be used with smaller medium needle, just increase the pressure. Edit 6/13/2022: Contact Paasche through the customer service email on their website and they will offer to help. I emailed them asking for advice on a potential fix and they just offered to replace the brush if I send it to them. Which is great service that I wasn't necessarily looking for but will not turn down. I will update my review after I receive it and have time to find out if there are any issues! 7/4/22 New brush is fine. Turns out somehow the biggest nozzle had somehow broke and split. I started having the same paint bubbling problem with the new brush when I suddenly noticed this since I was using the original nozzles from my Amazon purchase. Paasche service is great and they sent me a new brush sans accessories no issue when I just wanted some help troubleshooting the problem. I just wish I had noticed the nozzle sooner, but it is so small even the largest one. ____________ Original review text: This sounded like an incredible deal on paper. 3 needles and a fan nozzle and American made. However the reality is that perhaps some things slip through QA. Or I just had bad luck. First was the trigger and assembly, constantly getting stuck despite any adjustments to the lock but or assembly tension. The action felt very rough. As others suggested, I tried polishing and filing parts of both. This reduced it getting stuck some, but not enough. And I ended up introducing some filing marks. Fine let's just buy a replacement from Paasche. They are cheap ,easy to get and shipps fast directly from them. Trigger almost never got stuck after this, action still felt a little rough but not enough to be an issue. Then after 2 weeks of moderate use(Using only Mr.Hobby paints and thoroughly cleaning with lacquer thinner with each use) the airbrush started bubbling in the cup and paint would not flow properly. Not even lacquer thinner would run through anymore. So I adjusted and cleaned everything physically possible with multiple tools. Nope. That only left the needle packing assembly and nut. And low and behold it's already falling apart , I forgot to mention before I replaced the trigger at one point paint had also leaked into the trigger area a little. They sell replacements for this, but the packing washer is all but IMPOSSIBLE to remove. I was able to remove the nut, but nothing I did could dislodge the washer. Trying to lubricate it or clean it to help loosen it, to using a small flat head entering from the front of the disassembled front to try and push it out. I even took a hammer to the screwdriver to try and give it more force to get it out. At this point the brush is broken and unusuable. I am still within my return window, but I feel guilty about wanting to return it since I feel it mostly failed from actual use, no matter how little. When it worked, it was good. ... show more

  • Great Airbrush, well made and Perfect for my Modeling Needs
Style Name: New Vesion
I couldn't wait to bust this bad-boy out and start detailing some of models. The Paasche Talon seems light years above my years-old VL series brush. Anyone looking to move from a siphon to a gravity feed model would do well to consider the Talon. It affords greater control of paint/air flow and faster cleaning between colors (IMO). I've only really played with it, as I just received it last night, but I was so excited I just couldn't wait. I'd post pictures, but I'm too lazy, sorry. Anyway, I recall reading a bad review and seeing a "low star" rating because of the included box, if you're buying the airbrush for the box you'll be disappointed. It includes an imported Chinese-made wooden box with a generic foam inlay that appears to have cutouts that will accommodate several Paasche models... in short, it's a box that should "adequately" store your brush and the included accessories. I believe it better than the cardboard and plastic box that my VL brush came in. In the end, I purchased this model airbrush for the equipment, not the box. Everyone has their own perspectives and priorities, so if you're looking for a high quality storage container I recommend purchasing this brush and then an alternate container for it. Great brush for anyone looking to move up a notch or 2 from a simple siphon unit. ... show more

  • Yes it’s great
Style Name: New Vesion
I had bought cheaper guns but this one worked so well was able to get a whole tank done before cleaning and it does more precise painting than cheaper brands doesn’t clog easy and easier to clean. It’s faster and so much better than master airbrush or cheaper brands

  • These Paasche Talons are garbage.
Style Name: New Vesion
STAY. AWAY. FROM. THESE. Ive had 3 of these. I currently have two now - one I bought from Amazon, the other I had exchanged through Paasche of another airbrush I purchased straight from their website. Yes, Ive had 3 of these. All 3 of these have failed. Every single last one of them continues to push air into the gravity feed bowl; they spatter. they spray inconsistently if you are lucky enough for it to spray, and you will wind up frustrated trying to figure out why they do this. The nozzle cap does not screw on far enough to complete a seal; they are machined far too deep for the nozzles to seat properly. These things are garbage straight from the factory. Paasche used to be my favorite brand, my go-to brand. Now I have an Iwata airbrush that functions the way an airbrush is supposed to function. Im on the fence on whether or not to just toss these things in the garbage or write Paasche a strongly worded letter to tell them they need to fix their garbage. At this point they are shiny and very expensive paper weights. ... show more

  • Paache Airbrush
Style Name: New Vesion
This kit’s different nozzles and needles afford wide utility. The double action trigger with adjustable limiter works well. It is easy to clean and the wood storage box keeps everything protected and organized. Classic American-made implement well suited for the novice and the serious user.

  • The box is just the icing on the cake.
Style Name: New Vesion
This is my first airbrush. (Not exactly, I purchased a compressor that came with three guns and they were all junk.I know this as I am a first time user and this airbrush worked flawlessly out of the box. Did I say I loved the box.
