    • Excellent, large tent
Don’t be scared by the handful of low reviews for this tent. I just used this tent for 5 days in high heat (one day of rain/thunderstorms) and this is an absolutely excellent tent. The material quality is very good, the size is fantastic and with all of the windows open and fly removed is it beautifully airy. The only thing I do not like about this tent is that with the rain fly on it can get scorching hot inside. The clear skylights in the rain fly essentially create a greenhouse that you do not want to be in if the sun is out. I kept the fly off on the hot sunny days and only put it on when the rain came and I was completely happy with it. There were a couple reviews that mentioned that the tent leaked. This was not the case for me, the tent held up perfectly without even a drop of water anywhere during very windy torrential rainstorms for a full day. Even in the storms I was able to keep all of the windows about 3-4” open at the top for ventilation with no rain getting in. The tent performed very very well and is spacious. I had a queen air mattress, a twin air mattress as well as a pack and play inside and there was still plenty of room to walk around/in between them all inside. The setup was also very very easy, I set it up by myself in about 10 minutes the first time. Very very easy. This is a 5 star tent if you want a large dark tent for your youngsters to nap in. ... show more

    • Amazing car camping or festival tent!
I was skeptical buying a tent from a Walmart brand instead of a longtime camping/outdoors company. However this tent has been amazing so far. Used it for camping at a festival (definitely only car camping with this thing). Got it setup (with a bad back) in less than 2 minutes (while everyone around us was still struggling with their tents). Take down proved to be just as quick and easy. The tent is HUGE! I'm 6'2" and I would stand, walk, get dressed, etc... comfortably inside without ever having to hunch or bend down. We had a big inflatable queen air mattress, and TONS of extra space for clothes, bags, etc... It felt amazing roomy and spacious and reminded us of the magical tent in the Harry Potter books. The "Dark Rest" feature made sleeping/napping during the daylight hours easy (which comes in handy at a music festival where you're likely up until 4 AM - dawn... The easy windows made getting light, or air flow, super easy as desired. We had serious rain for a night and had no water in the tent at all! It also stood up solidly against strong gusty wind even through we didn't have the guy ropes staked out. All in all I have been very pleasantly surprised by this tent! ... show more

    • Easy set up!
Worth every cent. Set up time was 2 minutes. Never looked at the instructions and new to camping. Blacked out so the lights don’t keep us up at night or in the morning. Most importantly it has a mesh holder that fits my beverage perfectly.

    • Great tent
I have used thus tent in so many places in different countries. This tent is strong. I have stayed in strong wind camping. This thing held very good. Dome tents are knowns for resisting more wind. Not this type of tent. But I have used all the stakes and secure the entire tent and I belive that is why this tent had held so good even when I thought it wasn't going to. It is very very easy to set up. One person can do it. I do it all the time. The take down is also very easy. This is a great tent. I actually bought another tent, same one, to give to someone as a gift. That much faith I have in this tent. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Our excitement went three folds when we got this tent. It was literally upgrade from 4-person to 10-person tent, like a family size what we always wanted. Truly speaking, I like the dark test design, makes everything black dark during night and keeps it cool. Multiple windows for airflow with netting and zippers, compartments, lantern hooks at 3 locations, room divider, double door and ample head space were all plus points. Loved the floor space, it felt like a complete room to chill out, lie on my bed, relaxing and gazing the stars in the night. We were out camping for 4 days and the first day was fun to setup the tent quick as easy as it says, just 2 minutes. In fact, that was the instant tent meant for!! It was pretty easy and comfortable to manage with two persons. However, the next day, was the real rain test for the tent (check my video). I'm sorry to say, it didn’t survive in the wet weather and could not hold the continuous rain. Though it says waterproof, the rain water was getting inside the tent through stitching lines from almost every corner of the wall. Our beds were soaked in water. The items (cellphone, chargers, headsets, flashlight, etc.) kept the small pockets, all got wet. The floor fabric is so thin and cheap; you could barely stand barefoot in the cold wet weather. I was worried it could rip easily. Trust me, there was water puddle all over (see pictures). My bed was all wet on one side. I had to roll my bedsheet and keep by the wall edge to soak the water. My spouse and I spared hours in just cleaning up the mess after the rain stopped. There were several pin holes and one can easily detect that it will leak water. The story doesn’t end here. While unfolding and setting up is an easy job, the folding back is another painful task. Though following the instructions helps, but the tent expands despite all air is out and it requires two people to hold (almost 50 lbs) and tie the rope around it. Luckily, the bag that came with the tent had adjustable zipper to extent the bag and we were able to fit it in. I wish they had wheels on the bag, otherwise its heavy to carry. Overall, I like the dark rest design apparently very much disappointed with quality and durability of the product. The tent failed to meet our expectations and will be returned back to Amazon. ... show more
