I did keep these lamps because I found them beautiful! I have purchased several lampshades online through Amazon. This lampshade set did not have enough hooks to hold the lampshade in place. Ultimately… We applied some hot glue to all seams and clamped them down until they looked right.

Received my lamps well packed. Easy to follow instructions. It’s so easy to put together the lampshades no instructions are really needed. I read many of the reviews and it seemed all that were stated issues with the lamps were tended to. The lampshades came wrapped around the base of the lamp so no unwanted wrinkled lampshades. I have no flickering of lights ( top or bottom). Haven’t tried the USB ports yet. My bedroom is sea inspired. These lamps work well in my room. Shade looks like a sand color and the scrollwork reminds me of waves. They have a rustic modern flare. I showed the lamps to family and everyone oooohed and ahhhhhed about them. They appear high end. I just received this pair of lamps for a new side table for my entry way. They are beautiful. I love the design and the touch lighting has different levels of brightness. I'm very happy with this purchase, it was just what I was looking for. Better than the pictures. The only thing I can say negative is the lamp shades velcro and it looks cheap but that part will be against a wall anyways. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The bottom part of the lamp is a beautiful scrollwork design which is lit from within and has 3 dimmable settings with the tap of a small gold button on the front of the lamp. The lamp also features 2 USB ports. The set of 2 match perfectly with my decor - i was so excited when I unpacked them -stunning, especially for the price. I took off 1 star because the lampshades fasten with Velcro which doesn’t sit perfectly (but that faces the wall so it’s okay with me. I may decide to change the shade (?) later, but I really very happy! ... show more

I purchased the shorter lamps- the touch light in the base is perfect for night lights. Those lights are completely separate from the lamp. These are really great lamps for the price; and even come with light bulbs. The shades go together easily; I was actually surprised with how nice they look. If you put them together correctly there is a thin Velcro strip that seals the seam for the shade. It really is an ingenious way to ship a lampshade! Beautiful for the money! Decorative light is on touch control. Cut work makes beautiful shadows on wall. Only complaint is lamp light is manual. I believe I will not use the top light much because of that. Would recommend.

The lamp is small in height. The lamp shade is not your usual lamp shade, after forming into a shade it is held closed with velcro strips. To me it will wear out and stop sticking over time. The price could be a little lower but compensate for the style. The lamps will get lost in a large room. Color is very nice though, and the design is spot on.. I really wanted to keep them!!! but......could not come to a worthy reason... Please consider going to a traditional lamp shade of the same color, wider pole or tube and about 4 or 5 inches taller. ... show more
